  1. Bigelow's Mentha Lip Shine, comes in different tints and it's only 7.50 at Bath and Body Works! It lasts forever too!
  2. My first nursing job was in a rehab facility which I hated going to every day, even to the point of crying before every shift! This only lasted 5 months!! Now I work in Mom/baby and absolutely love it.:redbeathe Keep an open mind and go after the job you really want!
  3. I am coming off 4 night shifts in a row. I probably won't make it out of my jammies tomorrow!
  4. It is usually a float position
  5. Definately stay anonamous, but do call the state or get the media involved.
  6. I LOVED my wheelie backpack! And lots oh highlighters too!
  7. Well, my first job was in LTC-rehab and I was so excited about it....at first!! I wish I had known how much I was going to hate 2nd shift, I wish I had known how mean some docs can be, I wish I had known how lazy some of my coworkers were, and finally I wish I had known the 2 weeks of training I received would never be enough!!! I worked there for almost 4 months before quitting. I'm thankful everyday that I no longer work for such a crappy place!!

Before I went to nursing school I worked in the restaurant business for many years. It's not for everyone, but if you have good people skills you should do fine! The extra cash is nice and the people you work with are usually fun
  9. I have done 5 8 hour shifts and absolutely hated it!! You will get used to the 12 hour shifts, just try not to clock watch and wonder what you would be doing if you were home:)
  10. I trained for almost 3 months in my current position in OB and Mother Baby. I had patients every day of training. Take all the training they want to give you!
