Rnfa's
ok what if i rephrase my question to what do most rnfa's make in the states of TN, NC, VA, or FL? Can any rnfa's giev me any feedback. im just trying to get a rough idea. if taking on the extra responsiblity of an rnfa is worth the time and money.

Rnfa's
Ok this was brought up in another thread i was posting in but i never got an answer. i also did a search and couldnt find anything. anyways i graduated form nursing school last may and have since been working in the OR. i love it and wouldnt shange it for the floor for anything. anyways i have become really interested in becoming a first assist. I havent met any RNFA's so my resources are somewhat limited at work. anyways i was basically wondering what the average salary or hourly wages are for rnfas. whether private or paid by the hospital. i would appreciate any info thanks

Difference Between RNFA and Surg. PA?
I am not a member to that site does anyone have acess to it that can help me find the answer to my question.

Difference Between RNFA and Surg. PA?
you do have to have 2 years experience in the OR to get into this program and you do come out with your rnfa as well as your aacnp. and here you dont have to have a c-rnfa to practice only rnfa. here is a link to their program http://www.uab.edu/son/grad_acc_rnfa.htm also I was just curious what the pay is for an rnfa? whether you are and indepdant or working for a hospital or physician

Difference Between RNFA and Surg. PA?
what if you get your rnfa from UAB. it has a dual masters AACNP/rnfa. then you would have the same responsibilities as a PA right.

Aquiring a florida liscense

PACU Nursing?
Also a new grad interested in PACU myself. I have been hired on to the ICU of the hospital that i work for because they dont hire new grads in the PACU. The internship seemd to be a good one i am to spend about 2-3 months in the Cardiac stepdown before they even let me on the ICU floor. I think however i am more interested in becoming a PACU nurse than staying in the ICU. How long should i wait to make the transition? Also why do most CRNA programs not include PACU as experience in critical care? Thanks for the other info.

I am a recent new grad with a BSN. I was considering looking into the NP profession and was wondering if any NP's specialize in ortho or spend most of the time in the OR?

New grad salaries
Hey shirley i tried pming you but your box is full. I was wondering how your interview with fort sanders went? Have you heard back from them yet?
-
New grad salaries
No your right about the interview day where everyone comes at the same time, but she told me since i am not in east tn right now i can make an appointment to get interviewed before then because she thought it might intewrfere with my classes. I think she did this cause most people applying are coming from the knoxville area andi am in middle tennessee going to school. I think it scheduled around UT's and other knoxville area colleges spring break too.

New grad salaries
I think i will be graduating a week after you or two weeks cant remeber at this point. Anyways, i think i am going to wait till after spring break to set up an interview with covanent. I have a lot to do right now and the next two weeks before break. After break though my managment clinical starts and it will not be as hectic as my community clinical has been so i will start all that stuff then.
