  1. I took my test on march 15th and got "good pop up" ever since. Today after the long wait i got the letter saying i'm an official LVN. I'm so happy, so proud of how far i have come in my life. Thanks to this site my family and god for everything. The pearson vue trick was accurate for me:jester: I don't feel depressed anymore. Congrats to everybody who passed their NCLEX. Those of you waiting keep your heads high and be proud of how far you've come. :yeah::yeah::redbeathe:redpinkhe:clown:
  2. Congrats...... It's nice to hear somebody has received their results.
  3. HI everybody. I just called BVNPT for cali and they said they are barely mailing out March 1st results. I took my nclex-pn on march 15th and the lady said that i would probably have to wait another 2 to 3 weeks for it in the mail.It feels horrible waiting this long. I don't understand why their making us wait so long. It's really starting to make me angry. My classmate called on the April 7th and they told her they were mailing out Feb 28th. That means their mailing out 1 day a week??? Something is definitely not right. I have patience but it's about

  5. Well i took my nclex-pn on march 15th and i was the first in my class. So far 4 others have taken it and we all got the good pop up. One of them said the pearson vue trick wasn't true because we all got the good pop up. We all did well in class. It's just a hard wait, especially when you don't know your official results yet.
  6. I also read that in one of the other reviews. I'm not sure if the person that wrote it was just running their mouth are telling the truth. I took my nclex-pn on march 15. Still waiting doing the trick. I hope to got it's true because i keep getting the good pop up.
  7. Well thanks for the reply. Your words are very encouraging:lol2:. I still have a really good heart, and good nursing skills. It is what we make of it. :)
  8. I have a question or two. The doctor orders dosage 9,500 units of insulin and you have on hand 5000 units/ml? The answer that i'm getting is 1.9ml would you leave it at that or change it to 2. I thought you werent supposed to round insulin? For intake and output if you have a question that asking you to calculate intake. lets say it's asking you a pt has 4 oz of apple juice, 2 oz of water, 6 oz of chicken broth, and 4 oz of steak. The pt also has had 1liter of D5w? You add all liquid that can melt at room temperature, so exclude the steak. But what about the I.V. fluid would you add that in with the other fluids?
  9. I know how you feel otrinity09. I took my nclex-pn in cali on 3/15 and it stopped at 85. I've alson been getting the good pop up. I hate this wait, i don't know whether to feel happy or sad. I hope that trick is real. Please be real.
  10. Thanks MsVilla. Just keep me updated and what happens. :) It probably does work then. And PhillysBelladonna if you need to cry i don't see no problem with that. let it out. Sometimes i cry, especially after taking my nclex-pn. I just felt awful and like i didn't pass. I'm feeling better though getting the good pop up. Just want my results already.
  11. Then i hope it is true. What school did you go to? You said your DON does it for you and you took your nclex-pn right??? Sorry just very nervous, i took my nclex-pn on March 15th and i got the good pop up. Just having a hard time believing it. What state do you live in???
  12. Well I'd say joshua tree is a good little city to live in. They actually have more than a few nice resturaunts and coffee shops. All the major things to do that are fun are in palm springs. You'll at least be closer to casino morongo and the cabazon outlets. It snows sometimes in winter. Theres a bigger city right off the 60 freeway if you pass the exit to go to joshua tree. sorry having a brain fart but that might be a nice place to live i think you can cut throught the mountains and go throught joshua tree national park to get to copper mountain college.
  13. I'm a mexican male lvn and speaks very basic spanish. Should i explain?lol. My mother is actually irish/mexican american and my father is mexican but speaks mainly english. Mother speaks zero spanish and my dad never taught me while growing up. I feel obligated to know how to speak the language, because i look mexican. While in clinicals i would feel really bad when hispanic pts would look at me and speak spanish. I had very little spanish to communicate back with them. I just feel like when i let them know i speak little spanish they get the impression that i think i'm better then them. Which is so not the case.I want to apply at a hospital but feel like they will turn me down because i don't speak the language but look the language. I can speak very well in english though. I've just heard that they usually put lvn in ER which i would't mind. But the city i want to apply for has majoriy hispanic population. Does anybody have understand what i'm trying to say?LOL
  14. Thats a very good question i would like to know if theres a place like that:yeah:
