i agree with lenjoy, It's not easy in nursing school and it will get worse once you receive your license. Just enroll in ABE, STI or ACCESS,

ospital ng sampaloc
applications in Ospital ng Sta. Ana is already closed. We were told last feb when we took the exam that that we will be the last batch for the hospital. We were around 1400 takers and they will only need 150 nurses including those who has backers. Geez... I was like PBB or American idol that day very tight competition.

Hospitals accepting nurse applicants for possible hiring
It will be also diffilcult working in Chong Hua especially if you don't know how to speak or understand the dialect which is Bisaya. Believe me, I've already experience that when I worked before in Ozamiz. Patients notice me immediately that Im not a local there because I mix Tagalog and Bisaya when explaining something to them

URC - Merge review center for local NLE comments and reactions
I'm a passer from SeaMed. But I still recommend Merge. You can also check St. Thomas review center. A lecturer there is an Ex-Merge lecturer.

Any Tips for Surviving the Long Wait of those Pending Applications in the Hospitals
wow! Icecandy we do have the same story, you might be my soul mate Its been 6 months already but still no luck. I've passed a lot of applications in hospitals and agencies. My last application was in Sta Ana Hospital which is very dissapointing. Imagine, 1400 applicants battling for 150 slots (with backer included). I'm reviewing for IELTS now since this is one of the requirements needed especially when applying abroad. I don't recommend you guys to attend seminars and IVT trainings, It's only a waste of my precious money. My sister who works in SLMC you can get those stuff once you get hired.

Employment process @ St. Luke's Medical Center (e.rod)
I'm sorry young_achieRN but the REAL pay of SLMC for staff nurse is only around 11k for both QC and GC. My cousin who works there told me that they are still on freeze-hiring due to the over staffing in GC. She is previously assigned in GC but transferred in QC. :redbeathe
