:up:I would know if they require any special certifications, I just interviewed for a ob job and she informed me that I would need a NRP certification to start,I relocated to different state and this was not required in my home state, so definetly knowing what experience and certification they want can give you a better shot,also don't close off other opportunities, she also said well if you would like I could talk to the nurse manager in postpartum to give you more experience for joining us here in the birthing center. it says 3-4 weeks i sent in a money order they got it last friday, called them this monday and they said another 10 days just to see it online,FALSE this morning it was there online issued yesterday july 28 so it was only 2 days instead of 10 so maybe it will be 10 days to get the physical license, i will see when i get back to CA if it is in the mail before the 10days

when you get your official pass letter there is instructions on what to do exactly for name address change all of that is there, its a packet

i am also considering this option CA does not accept excelsior online college, have to know whih one they accept, or you get your license through another state and then endorse it to CA:confused::confused:

like you i rushed to the post office after work sent it off certified, if ever there was a crazy person running around it was me that day, i do not have checks so i has to get a money order and was rushing to make it to the post office before it closed, i made it (out of breath)

yes i did i called my enforcement analyst to make sure she got the information that I was in compliance and paid everything, she didn't i had to resend it, i called again to see if she got it(SEND IT CERTIFIED), she did processed it that day got the real official you pass pay your 150 dollars 2 days later, now i am waiting to see my name online and my physical license, paper said it takes 3-s weeks. word of advice call your analyst and be polite you may be getting the inital license packet soon

you should have gotten your results by now has it been 7 weeks, do you have any tickets are in enforcement because it does make a difference. by the way someone posted it took them 7 days it took all of 2 days once i kept calling saying did you get my paper yet, she processed it the same day i rushed yesterday to the post office to send that 150 dollars certified just checked and status is delivery. how long till i c my name?

i had this intially at first but i was doing the pvt wrong. i did not go to the right sign in on the second line. once i followed the correct steps step by step good pop up and i passed it worked for me.

i don't really understand your question but, when i initially registered i called on the phone, but when i tried the pvt i did it online and it worked for me. it does not matter she used the phone first. is that what your asking. you have to follow the steps on the thread to try the pvt:uhoh3:

the long 7 week is over you PASSED:lol2: now just wait for them to give you the letter for your license thats all we can do the hardest part is waiting for the pass or fail now we just back to religiously checking our mail for that second letter. i did not put it down it came up on my background to my surprise all but it also became a failure to appear so not just a ticket.

you should still get your results that you pass it just takes an extra couple of days

ok your results have to come in then they give it to enforcement, however the catch is you have to pass the exam for them to make a decision on your license, i am going through this same process, in may they told me they received my information then in july they said oh we did not get it, so i had to resend my letter certified this time, just make sure they really got it otherwise you will be waiting like me once you pass. then the guy told me once you pass it takes enforcement another 30-60 days, i really hope it doesn't especially not for a ticket,althoug mine was failure to appear(completely an accident not to show up:devil:) The way to tell if you passed once your results is in is to call enforcement and aske something like so how long after will it take to get my results from you, they should explain that you have an analyst, because remember they don't touch your app unless you PASS HOPE THIS HELP YOU:confused:

she may not tell you but if she has anything on her background your license will be pending until they clear you, yes even for a ticket I am going through it now

its ok you will pass next time, do 100 questions a day, if you run across judith miller do it you will pass, she goes through everything you will need to know if you are going for rn do nclex 4000 for lvn do nclex 3000:crying2:
