  1. My LVN program is a 12 month program. But my program is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. So its a very long day for me - Branda :stdnrsrck:
  2. I havent started my LVN program yet. But also, my biggest problem is studying. Im very nervous, i hope i can make it!
  3. Hello, I am currently trying to get accepted in Navarro College's LVN program. They require that i get a full background check, along with a full set of finger prints to send to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The thing is, when i went to my local police department, i was told that they didnt do finger prints so i can send them to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. So, i called the next town over, and they also said that they didnt do it either. So i called the Navarro College Health Professions department to see whats the deal because no one is going to do it for me. The secretary said that the police department does do it, its just they dont want to do it, they are just not going to do it. I have to have this criminal background in order to be accepted by the college. What do i do? Im pulling my hair out because im so stressed out! Branda
  4. At the college i will be attending, we have to make a 75 or higher. Man, you have to make all A's? Thats a bummer.
  5. Well i will be starting in August , lol but still i am really excited :) and i can't wait to get this experience under my belt :) I think that this is a wonderful thread
  6. It just depends on how good you are in elementary algebra and your reading skills. I am a high school senior and i have already taken the compass and accuplacer test for the LVN entrance exam. I made a "B" on both. But if you scaried, they do make study guides for the different tests. And when you do take the test, pace yourself, some exams or time and some are not. But just try and do your best and you will do great! Ms. B
  7. Im going to school in the fall of 2010. And my school, Navarro College, they don't require pre-req's for the LVN program, but there a must for the ADN program. But you can take them, they would be more of help to you in the long run. And you might not even have to take the class if you have already took the pre-req. Ms. Branda
