  1. I went to the live review. Glad I did because you can ask the instructor if you have any questions. Live review definitely got me engaged. Only used hurst review plus kaplan and I passed the first time!
  2. Thank so you much for your response and for your word! I feel like I'm ready to take in any challenges they throw at me! Couldn't agree with you more. I would love to see more changes in nursing. Well, you and I can tackle the Washington but then you already know the conclusion to that. I feel like lobbying right now only if I have enough money! You're going to be a great clinical research nurse. Let me know how you're doing in your job that way I can push myself through and land a job.
  3. I'm a 22 year old RN with approximately 16 months of cardiac experience. I work in a acute care setting and I get to take care of really sick cardiac/pneumo patients. I work nights and my body surprisingly adopted quickly to the graveyard shift. I love working with cardiac patients and the people I work with, but sometimes I get so stressed out with the workload, events, etc. that I feel like I'm going to pass out. Stress is not so bueno for our body. Plus, I'm getting my BSN right now (hoping to graduate this december) and it only adds on top of other stress I'm having. My former teacher in nursing school was once a research and this got my attention quickly. She said the nature of job is good though I heard the paperwork. I don't mind reading, talking, charting, reviewing, etc. all day. I usually comb my chart like it was nobody's business. I love reading medication trials and such as well. Do you think this is a hard job? Does it pay well? Do you have to work on the weekends as well? I live in Texas by the way. Any advice how I can break in this job? Thank you so much!
  4. Congrats! Yay for us! Fierce RN's!
  5. Yeah you can check if your name is on the board registry (go to nursys.com) He knows how to do it and followed the instructions. I don't really know but fo sho he's name is on the boards!
  6. Hey guys I passed! The PVT truly works! I still can't believe it! My hands are still shaking right now!
  7. My friend took his a couple of weeks ago (NCLEX RN), went directly to the credit card page but when he did the Quick Result, he found out he passed! I was shocked! So here I am anxiously waiting to do the Quick Result. Took mine last Tuesday. Got cut off at 75 questions. Went home crying like a baby. Did the trick pretty much all day, kept getting the good pop up. I'll keep you guys posted!
  8. Please hold on to your hope until you get your official result. My friend took his about two weeks ago, went directly to the credit card page but when he did the quick result (after 48 hrs) he ended up passing! I saw a post the other day that there were two people that went to the cc page and passed. Only 9 more hours and I'll find out to see if PVT truly works!
  9. How often should I check this? I'm getting OCD because of this lol I got the pop up though but I'm still scared! Is this really accurate?
  10. Hey takeatrip! How are you feeling? Select all that apply: Nauseated Agitated Feel like crying/poking your eyes Nervous Tachycardia Deodorant failing on you Mine = all of the above! Dang that test was hard! Got cut off at 75. I was sitting there hoping that the computer will give me more questions. Anyway, did the trick when I got out. I did get the pop up as well. Checked it 3x already lol. Is this really accurate? Otherwise, I'll have to take my happy hour mix (bendaryl + tylenol pm) for the next 48 hours kidding I'll keep you guys posted!
  11. Takeatrip, I feel like crying as well. Join the "crying peeps club"! Anyway, just keep your head up! Don't forget to pray and by God grace, we will pass this test!
  12. Hey daniell! I'm taking mine tomorrow as well @ 8am! I'm scared! I did the kaplan practice test as well and stopped at question 100. My brain is exhausted already! Anyway, good luck tomorrow!
  13. Hi guys! This is my first post but I have been browsing/using this site since 2009. I just recently graduated about two weeks ago and I'm taking my boards on July 5. I couldn't take it asap because I have to through hospital orientation and it takes a while to do that. I'm really nervous about this test! We used ATI throughout nursing school. I got an 80% on my ATI comprehensive and it said there that I have 98% of chance passing the NCLEX the first time! But ok, after I took Kaplan test tonight, I felt like I was going to pass out (I was in question #2). It was 180 questions, I got 124 questions right and 56 questions wrong (so its 69% in percentage). Is that bad guys? Any tips on studying? Thanks ya'll!
  14. Good job helpingothersinlife! I took the ATI test today as well and I got a level 1!!!! Pretty much all of my classmates got a level 2 and 3... I cant get the questions right! In my head, I think that's the right answer but nah, it's wrong. I was confident on all of my answers when I took the test and just as I hit the end button, my eye caught this LEVEL 1 on the top of the page. My heart was crushed. Help. Anybody?
