Anyone trying to get in in Houston?

I am a little down about nursing not only because of fear of not getting into nursing school but also because my friends keep thinking I'm going to be out of school in a year or so because I've already been in school several months doing prereqs!

I am going into nursing partly because I've heard you can do contract work and have a flexible schedule.

I'm working on prereqs for ADN and I have gotten a lot of negative comments from people. Why?

I heard that the RNs have to do less bathing and stuff like that because LVNs do more of that. Is that true?

I finished that semester with a 4.0! :)

I am just wondering which program to apply to. (I am in Houston.) Some require different prereqs.

Wow...I just applied for pharmacology with HCC but was thinking about what other options there are...I want to do the ADN...With N. Harris can you start in the Spring or only in the Fall?

I am looking online at San Jacinto and their catalog shows a 5 semester ADN program. Was the program you took faster than that?

I am planning on applying for a ADN program. I am thinking that after I get that I could go on to get a BSN. How important or how much difference does it make between the two?
