I am a 2005 USA grad and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I have a good friend who actually went to Faulker State in its infancy for an ADN and she seemed so much more prepared and confident as a new nurse. Of course on a resume' BSN wins every time. Im just saying..... My main complaint was that they seemed to focus much more on students passing boards than on students learning any real nursing skills. I dont know how that stacks up to other nursing programs but I do know every single person I kept up with in my class passed boards the first time. Do you by chance know of any programs in Mobile that accept students who have been dismissed from nursing schools do to receiving below C's in nursing courses? I want to obtain a BSN; that's what is drawing me to USA; but just not sure if I would get accepted b/c of my prior nursing school issue.

do you all know if usa readmits nursing students who have been dismissed due to academic reasons...i was in the program but was trying to work and go to school at the same time.

What nursing school would you all recommend in the Mobile, AL area?? I have heard the same things about USA.

Hello All, I currently hold a Bachelor's Degree and I was obtaining a second Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Unfortunately, I failed two courses and I'm no longer in the program. I am wanting to start an ADN program Fall 2010, but it has been longer than 5 years since I have taken my A/P I, II classes and I have never taken Microbiology so my question to you all is do you think that it would be possible to take all three classes together in the spring??? I'm trying to get a head start far as studying so that I can be prepared. Has anyone ever did this before??? If so, how was it??? and were you able to work???
