Memorial hires ADN's. They have a residency program for new grads. I know the one for the summer already started in july. The winter residency program should be taking applications soon. Call 912-350-8000 and ask to speak to someone in the education building and they can let you know more. I think you need to ask for T.J Haymens

Do you have access to ATI? IMO it was the closest to the nclex.

I was offered a job at a state psych hospital also. I do not start until Dec. but i was offered $26/hour plus 18% shift diff for nights and 8% shift diff for weekends.

try this book....NCLEX -RN 101 How to pass by Sylvia Rayfield. I passed in 75 questions the first time. I had this book, the Lacharity book, kaplan, and exam cram. I will be honest, I do not remember what read in kaplan because i read it as soon as i graduated. i never completed exam cram....did about 4 chapters, and did about 5 chapters in the Lacharity. I did all of the questions in the Nclex 101 book and i did only one of the post test. I feel this book had good questions. Try it. I think that you can get it on Amazon. Good luck and many blessings! Thank you all for your support. I take my test on weds. aug 15th. I put in two days because it was after midnight......so to everyone taking their exam tomorrow....i will be praying for you tonight so let me know how it goes.....and to those taking it with me on weds. tomorrow we need to just relax....I checked into a suite to get away from my kids to have a piece of mind....i plan on spending tomorrow by the pool with one of my best friends.....and of course pray, pray, pray....im praying for us to be at peace and to be confident and we WILL ALL be RN's soon!!!!! I take my nclex in 2 days and i really do not know what to do with myself until then. i answered questions and i am not sure how much more i can retain until test day.....prayers are greatly appriciated because i really need them to remain positive and peaceful to pass this test :loveya:

hi, I was just wondering how people did on the nclex without taking a review course. I have been using kaplan, exam cram, LaCharity, and nclex 3500. I score usually around 70%-75% sometimes 65%. Do you think these books and scores will be enough to pass???

The program is an excellent program....they are so caring...mainly in the first two semesters....they get you ready for the third and fourth semester....you will have alot of time in the hospital....i believe that the program has me ready. I have not taken my nclex yet but plan to soon and i feel prepared because of how the program is set up. I got an 96% chance of passing the nclex on my ATI predictor which you will take the end of the last semester. If you have any other questions you can email me at [email protected].
