  1. I am very sorry for this news!!!! My advice is take a break maybe enjoy the holidays and then get back into it and maybe trying to stick to a study schedule and relax!!! the LaCharity PDA book is a must and I found the Mary Ann Hogan Comp review was great!!! I used these 2 books and passed with 75 questions....Good Luck you got this the second time around!!!!!!
  2. PDA- LaCharity book Comp. NCLEX RN- Maryann Hogan Exam Cram 3 did over 5K questions for 6wks 150-250 day took 7 practice tests online 4 with 265q to prep me if needed read every rationale-correct and incorrect questions stick to a schedule and stay focused!!! Good Luck I passed with 75 questions
  3. Congrats!!!! I also passed 10/18 with 75quest 8-10 SATA no math 2 med questions, and lots of priorty questions!!!! I studied with Comp. NCLEX-RN book by Maryann Hogan, PDA-LaCharity, and NCLEX-3500 over 5k questions reading every rationale.....Good Luck to everyone with an upcoming date
  4. @zazak Was not bad at all....no math like 3 pharm questions, maybe 8-10 SATA, and the rest was Prior/Deleg/Assessment questions!!!
  5. Well took exam at 8am this morning 75 questions and 3 hours later I had an active licensce number b/f I could even do the PV trick....Yayyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!

  8. go over labs, percautions, pri/delegation ect. stay calm and confident!!!!! day of testing you check in, get fingerprinted and checked in, you will not be allowed to wear anything around arm (watch, jewerly ect.) or a jacket that zips up...hope this help Good Luck RN
  9. Hey I looked on BON website and saw up to 8 times a year with 45dys in between and after 3rd fail I think you have to go in front of board...Good Luck

Hi I am waiting to for ATT to retest (2nd time :-() trying to stay motivated I am still not scoring very high on my test and I do not know if from my anxiety or lack of content, I study constantly 1st attempt I studied 5-7 days a week 8-12hr nonstop this time I have been trying to take it easy, any comments on how much time anyone else studyies and what they do ect!!!! books and content I am using plus virtual ATI Lacharity PDA KAPLAN NCLEX-RN: Strategies, Practice, and Review (2012-2013) Comp Review for NCLEX-RN Maryann Hoagan Exam Cram 35-page study guide/tips I found online

I am soo excited to read this because it gives me hope I failed my first time 265q, which was a week ago and mainly my studying consisted of VATI content review and Kaplan book Idk what to do this time or how to even schedule another appointment, do I have to repeat the entire process over as far as a new app and back ground check!!!

I took Nclex a week ago after studying non-stop for over a month, I felt confident and thought I had it, after I passed question number #75 I started to loose my confidence quickly after testing for 6hrs I didn't feel any sort of way....I had a feeling that I failed, ever since I have had no motivation to move forward, my anxiety takes over when it's time to test and Idk what to do next....can anyone give me words of wisdom:-), how to start a new study plan, how to go about getting a new testing date, do I need a new background check any books or tricks that worked for you ect. Thanks--from a newbie to the group!!
