I got into Troy in Montgomery. However, i must defer for a year for financial and personal reasons. Do most people who have been accepted but must reapply get back in? Im nervous that I won't get back in. Any thoughts

I signed up to take it in the fall. Im a little concerned about the "cooperating lab" requirement. Was that really difficult to organize?

I just finished A&P I with Edukan and I thought it was great. VERY time consuming, alot of assignments in addition to the tests. I am going to take A&P II in the fall. And at some point Micro but I may try ccconline for that, I heard really good stuff about that. Ill be happy to answer any questions about Edukan A&P I.

Does TSUM requre the NET preadmission exam if you already have a college degree?

Check out Edukan.org. They have A&P I and II online and other science classes as well. The lab is a virtual lab which required a special type of software. Im planning to start A&P in January and I think you can still sign up. Hope this helps.

No, Not yet. I graduated from college MANY years ago in an unrelated field and I am just starting back to school, taking some prereqs in January. I hope to start in a year, at the earliest. (I also live in Atlanta, but Im from Montgomery so this is my first choice as I have support from familiy there) Im trying to find out if TSUM will accept online coursework for prereqs such as A&P, as this is my best option while I continue to work full time for a little while longer. Where did you complete most of your prereq work?

Edukan (Edukan.org) does not charge out of state tuition. Im planning on taking A&P in Januaray online. Im not sure what classes you are looking to take but there is still time to apply and register for Spring. Good Luck!

Im planning to take A&P from Eudukan beginning in January. I have a question about the Logistics. Can you access the site from any computer. For example, if I am at work and would like to do some classwork on my lunch hour, can I do it from my computer at work. This may seem like a silly question but this will be my first online class and Im just not exactly sure what to expect. I would love to hear from some veterans on the logistics of the process. Im wondering the same thing. I work full time which is the reason I chose to take the class online. Im sure I will have no spare time!!!! What is everyone else's reason for choosing the online option?

Check out the website. Its Edukan.org I think it is about 100 a credit hour (the class is 4 hours) and there is a textbook and some software you have to purchase. I am not an LPN. I have worked in a corporate environment for almost 20 years and want to make a big change in my life!!!!!!!!! Im sorry I do not have more information, Im just figuring this out myself. Apparantly there is a program at a school called Edukan that I have been reading some good things about. My problem is I work full time and am not sure I can make it to a campus consistently. The website is http://www.edukan.com. There is some information about it in another thread on distance learning in the pre-nursing student threads.

How many of the students taking online classes at Edukan also work full time? I would assume it s a fairly high number. Also, how are the test given. Do you have to sign something stating you will take them honestly? Are they timed?
