  1. I am tried all the time. I am so sick of studying I am literally sick. It seems so much work... then I think of the last time I was in a hospital, and how I felt toward the nurses who took care of me. That gives me the strength to do it, those nurses really saved my life and spirit, and I know that I will be a great nurse and will be able to help so many people. That is what motivates me to get through it all, and I will. Everyone has to make their own decision on continuing through the tough times, and I do that almost everyday by thinking of all those I will be able to help.
  2. Hey all, so I've been looking for a job in the computer science field lately, which I know if off topic for a nursing forum, however, I'm sure you could search for nursing info just the same. Anyways. In looking for a new job I've been researching the companies to see who is the best to work for and you treats their customers the best. I have looked at a few sites so far and I feel like telonu.com is the best. They seem to have the most information. like Google for example, on telonu's site they have a lot of positive responses and some negative responses. you can check it out here: Google Reviews | Google Jobs | Google Layoffs | Telonu Now, are there any other sites out there that can give you statistics like how many people they fire or layoff annually -- or even the reviews like telonu.com has? thanks much!
  3. yea, I'm interested in this too. I heard no fish, is that all fish or just tuna? also, can you still have a cat as long as you personally don't clean the liter box? thanks!
  4. what do traveling nurses do? i haven't really heard of this before. is that like, in-home assistance or something? thanks!
  5. YOu just have to bust your ass. really. and don't worry so much about knowing everything when studying. The truth is, is you won't remember it unless you use it anyways. I mean, you want to do great on your tests, but don't stress. it'll all work out like it's supposed to. goodluck!
  6. It is so hard to work with people who just disregard the good we are trying to do for them. Good for you for venting it here and not on the patient's head! Thank you so much for being a nursing super star!!
  7. When in doubt ALWAYS change the needle - your patient will be thankful for it!
  8. It really is a shame that we are so understaffed and our patients can't get the care they need.
  9. I would definitely agree with all responses and say the University of Phoenix would be a waste of your time, money and efforts; I've seen it first hand - not in this area of study, but all the same responses. Best of luck to you in all of your endeavors.
