I Think That Whatever Review You Can Get Your Hands On Is A Good Thing. You Don't Need Expensive Reviews To Pass.....as Long As You Have Dedication In Doing 100 Questions A Day And Get A Book With Prioritizing, And Labs......everything Will Fall In Place.

I USED KAPLAN Q BANK AND ALSO BOUGHT THE KAPLAN 2007 EDITION BOOK FOR THE STRATEGIES. i ALSO USED THE SAUNDERS CD AND THE BOOK PRIOITIZATION,DELEGATION, AND ASSIGNMENT WHICH IS GOOD. jUST DO AT LEAST 100 QUESTIONS A DAY AND YOU'LL DO GREAT.

Took My Test Friday...results Posted On Pearson On Sunday Afternoon.

i JUST FOUND OUT THAT i PASSED TODAY... AND MY ADVICE TO YOU IS TO DO BOTH. I DID MORE OF THE KAPLAN QUESTIONS MYSELF AND I THINK THE TEST REFLECTED THOSE MORE THAN SAUNDERS BUT THE SAUNDERS CD IS GOOD TOO. i ALSO GO THE BOOK PRIORITIZATION,DELEGATION,AND ASSIGNMENT WHICH i FOUND VERY HELPFUL.~THE STRATEGIES THAT KAPLAN USES ARE GOOD TOO. IF YOU CAN DO PRIORITIZING GOOD AND HAVE LAB VALUES DOWN AND THE BASICS YOU'LL DO GREAT. jUST DON'T FREAK OUT......STAY CALM AND RELAX AND EVERYTHING WILL FALL INTO PLACE. GOOD LUCK

can't take the anxiety any more!!!! I only had one check all the apply question...which I hear if your doing good then you get those...but I only had one. I thinkI answered the last 2 questions right though...thats the only thing thats giving me hope to passing!

I can honesty say that i did the kaplan and the saunders reviews and nothing can totally prepare you for the questions they ask. Some of the questions are ok but others are just wiers to me i got questions about the west nile virus?????????? But other than that it just messes with your head. I think the main thing is just to RELAX during the test. The worst thing you could do is freak out. good luck..

tOOK THE NCLEX-RN TODAY SHUT OFF AT 110.... VERY NERVOUS. ONLY HAD ONE SELECT ALL THAT APPLY, NO MATH, JUST PRIORITY, WHAT WOULD YOU DO FIRST..AND GENERAL WIERD QUESTIONS. jUST WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSES SHUT OFF AROUND THIS NUMBER WITH SUCCESS?

Not sure what to think. Took the nclex this am and I got to like question 110 and I got the blue screen. It was very tricky......only got one check all that apply, no meds but a bunch of priority...who would you see first. The rest just general wierd questions. Just wondering if anyone also had their computer shut off at 110 and what thee outcome was? Also since I took the test on a friday...will I have to wait till monday to find out?

Awesome....so you focused on the Saunders book and cd? A lot of people been talking about Kaplan review...but maybe I'll hold off on getting that and use what I have Saunder and Lippincott. Do you think three weeks of hard studying in sufficient? I just graduated a few weeks ago and I also did well onour last hesi. Starting to freak out a little bit about this whole thing. Hello just wondered if I can get some advice on how to study 3wks pre nclex-rn. I have the Saunders book and cd....but I've been reading the posts and everyone seems to be doing Kaplan. Kaplan is sooo expensive....is it worth it? Any help please...taking exam 6/30 and want to buy/start a online review. Just wanted to know what has worked for others? Thanks

I SAW YOU WERE ONLINE AT THE SAME TIME AS I WAS AND WAS TRYING TO USE THE CHAT SERVICE SO WE COULD TALK BACK AND FORTH...HAVE YOU EVER USED THAT BEFORE? ANYWAY, I DON'T SEE YOU ON HERE ANYMORE....HAVE A GOOD DAY.

WELL ONE REASON I THINK THAT YOU HAVE A GOOD CHANCE IS I HEARD THE DAY PROGRAM USUALLY FILLS UP FIRST. AS FAR AS THE INTERVIEW, I HAD TO WRITE OUT A PARAGRAPH WHEN I FIRST GOT THERE I THINK IT WAS ABOUT WHY I WANTED TO BE A NURSE..ETC. AND THEN BASICALLY SHE JUST TALKED WITH ME ABOUT MY PREVIOUS SCHOOLING AND THATS REALLY ABOUT IT. WE BASICALLY JUST CHATTED ABOUT MY PAST AND THINGS OF THAT SORT. I WOULDN'T WORRY ABOUT THE INTERVIEW THATS FOR SURE. LIKE I SAID I WOULD EMAIL HER, 9IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT I'LL GIVE YOU HER ADDRESS) AND THATS PRETTY MUCH ALL YOU CAN DO. HAVE YOU TRIED APPLYING ANYWHERE ELSE? THE LPN PROGRAM WOULDN'T BE A BAD ROUTE BUT IF I WERE YOU I WOULD DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET IN TO BE AN RN...YOU'LL BE HAPPY YOU DID..ESPECIALLY MONEY WISE. HOW ARE YOUR GRADES IN THE PAST...BECAUSE THEY LOOK AT THAT I KNOW. THE WAY BARB PUT IT, A COMMITEE LOOKS AT YOUR APP EVERY SO OFTEN SO IF THEY MADE AN APPOINTEMNT FOR YOU FOR THE UPCOMING START DATE THEN THEY MUST BE STILL ACCEPTING APPS. THEY MIGHT NOT EVEN HAVE ANOTHER COMMITEE MEETING UNTIL AFTER MARCH SO YOU STILL MAY HAVE A CHANCE. I CAN'T REMEMBER ALL THE QUESTIONS YOU'VE ASKED ME IN YOUR LAST NOTE..... I can see your concern about not meeting with her till March. I met with her last July so it's been awhile and I went to their open house also and that is when I applied. I think the reason that it took so long for me was because I started so early in the summer looking. So, I met with Barb last summer and didn't get my notice until december, but I must say that I bugged the crap out of her for that letter. Like you I didn't like waiting and just wanted to know so I could either move on to another college etc.. Since I started and applied so early I just think they weren't ready to make any decisions untill this past december and this year. The only thing I can tell you is to really keep contact withBarb, even call her and see if there were any openings that so happen to cancel etc... I am in your same boat...I have a degree and all the prereq's done...I just have the 7 nursing classes to complete. I wish I could give you more advice but I don't know what else to say. Are you trying for the day or evening classes? I think you'll still have a good chance even if you do have to wait till march. Have you sent her everything else that she needs to look at for acceptance? As far as the interview...that was a piece of cake.....just make sure she has all your paperwork already and email her with questions etc... Hope this helps. What part of ohio are you from?
