I took NCLEX on April 25,2012 I was able to see my license verified in the BON website on June 6, 2012. I received my license certificates on June 25, 2012. I live in Nueva Ecija, Philippines. My address in the certificate is misspelled so I called the NYSED 3 nights ago. Hoping to get the new one a couple of weeks from now just enough to present it in the US embassy for my interview.

Hi! I passed the NY NCLEX last week. Now I understand why I did not saw my name in the NYSED. Did you guys have Infection control and child abuse certificates before taking the NCLEX because I don't. I am presntly getting those requirements and am still confused if they are needed to receive the license.

Did you send the infection control as well because mymedcerts.com did not deliver the course to NYSED.

Thank you darleash! Did elearning sent your child abuse cert to NYSED? or we are obligued to send it through snail mail with Infection control? do you have your license with you? what was it? An ID card or a certificate? i'm excited to have one for myself like you do.

hi everyone! i needed help regarding getting a license for ny then i read this thread with you as a very generous informant.i hope you could also help me with my problem. i passed nclex for ny last week but i haven't seen my name in the license verification through nysed website. i haven't had an infection control and child abuse cert. i just had the 1st in mymedcerts.com and now still having trouble looking for a course provider for child abuse. i tried elearning .net but it's difficult to use for me or maybe i am just messing up with the website. do you know other course provider? do they send the certificate to nysed or i need to mail them directly to nysed after printing? when should i see my name in the roster of licensed nurses in nysed? hey thanks a lot for reading and also responding to this inquiry!

Hi! I just passed the Nclex for NY last week, and I'm working on the infection control and Child abuse courses. I got the Ifc. control in mymedcerts.com for $19.99 but i'm having trouble getting the child abuse course. I looked up in elearning.net but it's not quiet easy to use. do have other online training provider that offer child abuse course? and in your case, when and how will I know my license number since till now I haven't seen it appear in NYSED license verification? is that normal? hi! I read all your responses. I also failed the 1st attempt. I took it last 2005. Could I just simply call up NYnclex to retake or I have to register the whole thing again because it has been a long time ago since I registered for the exam. I tried to look up my registration history in the website but it says it does not recognize my username and password. Thanks guys for the reply

hi! i recently received an e-mail for a SEC assessment notice. it says I need to take 1. General Nursing, 2. Maternal/Newborn Health Nursing, 3. Child Health Nursing 4. Mental Health Nursing The SEC assessment takes place in Alberta, Canada, at one of the IEN Assessment Centres of Mount Royal University, located in the city of Edmonton or the city of Calgary. I would like to know how and when you scheduled the test? I am still waiting for my working visa so I could also know when i would call for an appointment. could somebody please share their experiences in taking this assessment?

could you tell me your story on how you process your visa to canada? how long and how much? who to talk to and how? I'm already processing CARNA and waiting for an LMO that would come from my agent. I would like to know if I'm on the right track... I want to get my husband as soon as I get there. I have no kids yet. thanks for replying guys:up:

hey! your both right! actually because of the agony of waiting for the US interview...I applied for Canada and now processing CARNA. Is it ok if I make it a race which ever would come first?:imbar

you could see your priority date on the receipt that the US embassy will issue when you finish all the requirements. it is your hard copy and proof that your papers are already processing and your waiting to be scheduled for an interview before they give you a visa.:paw:

Aside from the test itself, it's a bit costly.don't you think? hehehe... so I want to pass it the second time and never repeat that again for the rest of my life! My agent told me I could take the california,then like you said they will make an endorsement to NY so I could use it there. thanks again! God bless

yah.. i'm hanging tightly..but there are a lot of times i really get frustrated. a lot of job offers in different countries offer a lot easier requirements than these. thanks:o

but as i can recall, they said there are only few states that adopt the each others license.. you still have to apply for reciprocity or take their test separately. is that correct? thanks for replying

hi! i just want to ask if i could take the california/any other nclex then work in new york? it was an idea then when i failed my first attempt to pass the NY nclex.so my sister advised me to take the other states' exam then apply for reciprocity. please help

I enjoy most of my time doing my job. In fact I Dreamed of being an OR nurse since I stepped into college.But what went wrong with our teammates in the OR- the SURGEONS... Alright, they are the CAPTAIN of the ship,and the main reason why we could conduct the operation. But why does it happen that they would act as if they own us or we would be responsible for their bleeders and traumatised bladder? are they insane???!!!! I know for a fact everyone of us experienced the confusing act of these professionals.I'll site some examples: 1. did you ever experienced being blamed when while operating,they hit the bladder of the unconscious patient while you were busy arranging the instruments on the tables? or.. 2. have you caught a flying kelly/forcep because the surgeon did not like its grip? or.. 3.being scolded in front of the patient because she is late for her next anaesthesia induction in the other hospital, which is suppose to be prearranged by herself knowing that she had two other patients coming later? or.. 4.accusing you of forgetting a rolled gauze to be removed from a post natal lady parts because she mistakenly thought she already took it. gosh... would you please tell this surgeons to sleep for at least 5 minutes so they would get a clear mind...and please teach them to acknowledge their mistakes.they are not gods and goddesses..

hi there! I'm your typical RN who mostly applied to work in the US but apparently, situations lead me to a lot of delays going there, like the timing of the retrogression. Now while waiting for the visa from America, I applied as an LPN in Canada thru an agency in Makati.That was 5 months ago.I paid a bond of 28,000 pesos and another 28,000 for the CARNA application. They told me they are currently searching for an employer for me to work with temporarily as an LPN. If ever they would find an employer,i would be able to sign a contract followed by the application for the temporary work permit.in accordance to this, I should pay more than 86,000 pesos for visa application. Lastly, upon recieving the visa, I will pay the last amount of 47,000 pesos. Am I going on the right track? the agency was licensed by the POEA.my cousin who is currently working in singapore recommended them to me because she is also an applicant,she said she is already processing her visa. please tell me something you know about this kind of apllication.I'm getting worried already because its been so long since I applied. hello there! im new to this site. i would like to know how I can renew my visa screen. I passed CGFNS last 2004 and combined it with my IELTS last 2005,thus gained my visa screen. but as we all know,there is still this retrogression.My visa screen will expired next year. please help me...I dont know what to do to renew it. thanks a lot for answering my question.God bless us nurses
