Do you know: No one governs the TxBON actions!! Even if you go before a Texas Administrative Law Judge and they rule in your favor the BON can refuse to accept their ruling. And, by then you have dropped thousands of dollars in Attorney fees!!
Has anyone with restrictions to work directly with another RN for a year+ random drug screens 1X a week for 3 months found a position? If so where?

I have 3 years as a DON in nursing homes.
I have to work DIRECTLY WITH ANOTHER RN! Filled out tons of applications. No luck. Smaller SNF facilities can't meet my restrictions and so far bigger ones can't either!

Do whatever it takes to avoid being reported to the Tx BON. They will make your life a living HELL. And, then issue restrictions after any drug or alcohol issues that may PREVENT YOU FROM WORKING AGAIN EVER AS A NURSE! They are not monitored by anyon...
I had to do forensic psy eval to get reinstatement. It was expensive!
call every psychiatrist in your area. If no luck start calling psychiatrist in larger towns. If you persist you WILL FIND ONE.
I also had to do a lie detector test!
