For those who are finding jobs, you can try Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. They hire inexperienced nurses. However, you must have your FL license. Hope this helps!

That also applies in Florida. From what I've heard, most hospitals here are not hiring new RN grads. Most require at least 1-2 yrs experience.

Hi everyone. I am a licensed RN in the state of PA. I am currently applying for nursing licensure by endorsement for FL. Do I need license verification via NURSYS? Should I fill out the nursing license verification request sheet? OR... Should I do both? Also, does anyone know where I can find the Prevention of Medical Errors course in FL? Any help would be appreciated.

i know how u must feel.. ive seen some horrible kardexes... ones that are illegible with additional papers attached on to it since there was not enough space...

ive heard that nurses working in southern FL get paid more than northern FL. Not sure if its true tho. However, i did check out the pay in jacksonville, FL. like chicookie said, it was VERY low.. Like others have said.. remember to take into account the cost of living :)
