  1. Hi all, what are your opinions on the university choices (pros and cons)? I was mainly interested in GCU, but after reading this thread it sounds like a lot went with ASU or UIU. Thanks!
  2. Hi @Changes1 , I'm looking at PIMA for their ADN program, did you choose this program for your RN?
  3. Hi @Shadow_wolf . This is unrelated to your question but I wanted to ask if you went ahead with PMI's ADN program? I'm looking to relocate to finish my RN and PMI is my #1 option right now..
  4. Hey everybody.. I've been reading your posts about WCU. and I'm really interested in it, my only concern is the cost.. Right now I go to a cc and I'm still working on nursing pre-reqs.. Do you think I should continue with what I'm doing.. or look more into WCU's BSN program??.. What if I finished all my prereqs at the cc, then apply to WCU? Thanks a bunch :)
  5. well I'm not going to transfer to a BSN program like right afterwards.. probably work for a while then apply to an RN-BSN program.. so would that make a difference? and I'm trying to avoid the whole waitlist, lottery system, etc. at JCs and universities.. I wouldn't mind going through that but I much rather not =) thanks for the reply!
  6. hi, I'm thinking about going through the LVN program at WCC then doing the bridge to the RN program.. Right now I'm going to Chabot and I'm taking/have taken Anatomy, Chem, Statistics, English, and Bio.. So if I do plan to go with WCC, will they accept these classes? Should I stay at Chabot for about 2 more semesters and do more PreReqs here, so I won't have to pay like $19,000 for them at WCC? I also plan on pursuing my BSN afterwards if I choose this route, so does anyone know if that would be some kind of problem? Is anybody else in the same boat as I am? So many questions =) Thanks!
  7. There's also the Medical Career College in Fremont. The program is 19 and a half days and it costs about $1250
  8. Woww reading all these entries makes me nervous thinking about the application process and the waiting period.. Right now I'm a freshman at a community college and I'm working on all the prereqs and planning on applying to almost 9 CSU campuses in the next year or so.. Well congrats to everyone who got accepted!
  9. is it hard/competitive to get into the bsn nursing program at usf? or are all applicants admitted automatically?
  10. congrats! was it hard or competitive to get into the BSN program?
  11. If a school has no wait list, then does that mean it's not impacted as well?
  12. Hi, I'm thinking of moving out to Colorado from California and I was researching the universities in Colorado. I've only been to one semester in college so far.. so if I did move to CO, would it be better to go to community college first then transfer to UNC? What other four-year universities in CO offer the BSN program? Thanks!!
