I'm currently doing my NP program. Any NPs out there willing to help me with a survey
I go to different hospitals every day (registry nurse) so it's hard for me to develop a working relationship with the NPs I see at work to ask them to do the survey for me. This survey is for my APN role development class. What's your specialty? Why did you become an APN? How long have you been practicing as an APN? How did you get your current job? What national certification do you currently hold? Describe how consistent your role is with what you thought it would be when you first started your job. What is your role regarding development of standardized procedures? What is your role regarding medical coding and billing? What do you wish you had learned in school that would have better prepared you to be successful as an APN? What advice can you give me as I begin my education? What do you like the best/least about the APN role? Describe how your understanding of the APN role changed as you went through your educational program. What professional organizations do you belong to and why are these memberships beneficial/not beneficial? Thanks for taking the time to fill it out.

US RN AAS degree gaining RN license in Australia
@ nyaussie or whoever may know the answer. Do Filipino grads go a different route than US grads? I'm talking about the conversation in this thread: https://allnurses.com/international-nursing/newly-grad-filipino-287930.html. I haven't finished reading it yet (I'm on pg 3) but it seems like they require a bridging program to go to Aus. Does that require exist for US grads as well? Thanks.

ADN US grad planning to go out of country for work.
Silverdragon102: Thanks for that info. I'm currently going to school full time just to keep my status. creativetype2007: I could do that but that's another $3000 a semester. Right now, I'm just trying to come up with as many options as I can. Option 1 is to get work, 2nd is continue my education. pedspro:I have lots of connections in other states and would like to get sponsored as well. But that's back in 2004, now it's pretty much impossible. --------------- On a side not, does anyone have any idea when it comes to joining the military as a nurse?
- Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Hello nyaussie, I'm contemplating moving to Australia as well. Is there any way I can contact you? There seems to be no private message button, or am I just blind? The speedy processing you went through is impressive.

Hi, jlynn2303 This is what I found in my own research. http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/medical-practitioners/visa-options-nurses.htm I think you can bring dependents over.

ADN US grad planning to go out of country for work.
Correct me if I'm wrong. I have an F1 visa and only an ADN so I pretty much have no chance of finding an employer that can sponsor me here. I heard the situation is slightly better for those with BSN but it's still pretty grim. I just passed the NCLEX and I haven't even started looking for an employer yet because I already know the situation. Although I will be talking with my lawyer this Tuesday to see if I have other alternatives that doesn't involve me leaving US soil.

Thanks, I just spent the last 3 hours looking it up. Looks promising. I happen to know friends with relatives over there too. If anybody else has any information on any other country I would appreciate it.

Is there any foreign country RN can work under US license?
Hi, babylove7477. I was just wondering if you finally found an employer or any other solution to your problem. I'm in the same boat as you are.

ADN US grad planning to go out of country for work.
Hey everyone, I'm an ADN grad here in the US. I have an F1 visa and currently considering moving out of the country (anywhere!) that'll take me and my associates degree. Does anybody have any tips or leads for me to follow? I'm looking at Canada or UK but anywhere that can land me a job will do. Thanks!
