I completly agree. You have to have faith that there are good things in store for you! I allow myself to have a few pity days but then its time to get back up and do it all over again!

Did you take BI 112? That class is now a prereq for the ap series and I know 112 counts.

One more question, I have my ID number but they never gave me a password. Do you know how that works?

Make sure to post if you hear something. I assume you will hear before me. That way others can try and gage how long before they hear. How long has your application been complete?

This year they accepted 16 students and had 15 alternantes. When I asked how many applied it was only 50 with the top 40 being invited for an interview. Try it! You can only apply to one program at the school so you have to choose between full or part.

If you are applying to the community colleges if you take 232 in the fall and 233 in the winter some may allow you to turn in trancripts for in progress courses. Keep your head up!

I am mailing my transcripts today! Did they tell you if you had to wait for the priority deadline to pass before you were notified. I hate thinking about having to wait all the way until the end of the year to find out. It would be nice to know sooner so I can start gettin things in order. Blah got my email from Mt Hood for the part time preogram and I am on the waitlist. If it had been a normal program I would bee excited about being number 14 but in a program that only has 16 people that is not so good. This all means I will be doing this all again next year (third times a charm) or I will be leaving my family behind to go out of state for an 11 month accelerated program. Either way I will find my way into the nursing profession. Good luck to those still waiting and to those who like me will be doing this all over again!

The part time program is supposed to notify people by June 1st. I am not holding my breath didnt do so hot in the interview. If you hear make sure you let us know!

I would treat it like any other interview you would go on and maintain a professional attitude through out the whole process. Good luck and I am really happy to hear that you got called off the "booty call" list!

That is for the part time nursing program starting at MHCC next year.

I have been in the same boat kurdrn. Last year I was denied at every school I applied to. I applied again this year and was denied at all but one school but didn't do so well in the interview. Last year I felt ready to give up for a couple weeks but decided I have worked too hard to not try again and again and again if I have to. I hope that can appreciate what you have accomplished and will not give up!

Purple rose- you do get a letter either way. At least that's how it was last year. If you don't get anything tomorrow just be sure to call on Monday.

I didn't even know they had a waitlist for interviews but I guess it's a good idea being one of the last few schools to have theirs.

Since the program starts during the 2010-2011 school year I think you should apply now. Hope that helps.

I dont want specifics I am just asking what is going on that physically makes it so that the interview is 3 hours long. I get that you get some time to write and essay and then answer on question orally, but are there like 20 people in a time slot that makes it last so long? I dont think the answer to that questions will give me an unfair advantage :)

Samurai- My interview is on 5/17 at 8:30. This is my first time interviewing for school so I am wondering what goes on for it to last for 3 hours. If anyone has interviewed with mt. hood before what are you doing that it takes so long?

I got my ohsu rejection letter today but I did get invited for an interview at mt. Hood for the part time program. I think my strategy paid off since only 50 people applied and the top 40 get interviews. I hope the others waiting on ohsu get better news!
