  1. Does anyone have access to the NLN practice exam? There is only the 5 question DEMO one online. Thanks!
  2. Hi- Does anyone know if you need to wait until the 12 wk orientation is completed to use the NYP employee housing? Or, can you move in for the start of your 1st day? Thanks

What was the phone screen like? Thanks!
  4. Very informative thread. I was wondering if there were any MSN RNs who attended/are attending the post-masters CRNA programs. How competitive are they? How are you managing work and school, etc. Thanks
  5. I have a similar question. I have seen job descriptions: at the same hospital, on the same unit, for "Registered nurses" as well as "staff RN." It seems that a "staff RN" is a more entry-level job than one for a "registered nurse." Is this correct? Thanks
  6. Does anyone have a working link for NJ passing rates from 2008 (or '09 if available)? That link above clicks through to a faulty link (possibly b/c this thread is old). I have been searing online, but can't find anything more recent than 2006.. thanks!
  7. when do you put dependent and when do you put independent when filling out the FAFSA? I have quit my job, moved back home, and am basically having my parents help me. But, they are almost retired, so I didn't want their finances to be considered. would i be a dependent or an independent? thanks
  8. I have some questions about how this career can grow. Can a CLN go on to become an CRNA, Midwife, Acute care specialist, etc with 'ease', or would there be a lot of repetitive course work? I am looking at ABSN and 'Direct Entry CNL Masters' programs. For instance, if I wanted to become a CRNA down the line, is a CNL simply increasing my work load, or is it a stepping stone? Thanks in advance.
