  1. Thanks so much for the information, the idea of moving is still in the earlier stages of consideration and I just wanted to get an idea of the pay in relation to the cost of living.
  2. Hi Everyone, hoping you might be able to help me out. I am looking at relocating from southern Ca to the Detroit suburbs to be closer to family and I was trying to get an idea of what the average pay is for experienced RN's. I am a BSN with my with background in Tele/Cardiac nursing. Thanks for your help.
  3. Are you in California? If so, they allow you to take your boards prior to receiving your officiall transcripts but they will not release your results until they receive them. Good Luck!!
  4. Woo Hoo!!! I passed!!! Can't believe I'm officially an RN. Took my NCLEX on June 19 and had to wait for our school to send our official transcripts to the state of CA. The PVT works, it was the only thing that kept me sane the last 2 weeks. Good luck to all!
  5. So frustrated! Took NCLEX-RN in CA on Saturday 6/19, stopped after 75 questions and thankfully have gotten the "good" pop-up ever since but will have to wait several weeks for my officials results because our school will not be sending out our official transcripts till later this week.
  6. I worked 2 part time jobs plus 3 kids. Organization and knowing your own limits and strengths will be the key. I was very lucky to have 2 employers that worked with my nursing schedule, looking back not sure how I managed but didn't really have a choice.
