i have seen male nurse on pedi floor. i guess people think that women are more nurturing than males but that should be changing i know plenty of males who are good with kids.

go for what you want. you'll never know when you get another opportunity. make the sacrifice of working nights now and eventually you will get the shift you want. if u dont go for it how will you ever be able to be trained as an LD nurse. goodluck!!...

I had the same exact experience as you! And i found out i passed about 2 weeks ago. I still cant believe it. I was also surprised about the pedi question i had alot of those, which was the one thing i didnt really study. good luck to you.

Congrats !!!! My one advice is to ENJOY it. It is alot of work but you do have some amazing experiences and meet a lot of great people. Trust me it goes by FAST!!
