BMCC - Che 121, Bio 425/426/420 Question
I took A&P 1 over the summer last year then took A&P2 and Micro in the Fall. So it is def allowed, I was not a matriculated student though, so I am not sure if that plays into that. I just went to BMCC to complete some pre-reqs.

Nyu 15month absn current or graduate students
I wanted to know what the schedule is like for the 15month accelerated program, are you in M-F, 8-12hr days? Is it overwhelming? How difficult is it to keep up with course work, gpa minimum, studying, how are exams scheduled, considering semesters are usually 18credits, are professors good with scheduling exams around each-other.. please share clinical experience if possible... I'm excited, nervous and overwhelmed all at the same time and any help would be appreciated.. btw i start the absn in the fall 2010 thanks in advance:specs:

College of Mount Saint Vincet vs. College of New Rochelle or NYU-Spring 2010
I plan to also send in a formal letter to CMSV. The $38000 is for the two year program? Also I believe I only need the Nutrition pre-req to be considered ready for the nursing program, I dont know for sure yet though, when did you get to register? Also what does the first semester look like, schedule wise. I would love to have your email, we may be having courses together, who knows? I'm really just anxious about getting my financial info ready and finally have a picture of what the next few years will look like money wise. Cheers to us!

College of Mount Saint Vincet vs. College of New Rochelle or NYU-Spring 2010
I hear you.. good luck on your decision, I will keep you posted, if all else fails I will be in CMSV, which I am still excited/scared about.

College of Mount Saint Vincet vs. College of New Rochelle or NYU-Spring 2010
Same here. NYU is my top, but CMSV's small classes make it more appealing, I read around that NYU's courses consist of 100+ lecture courses, so that makes me hesitant about it. I also need to complete a few pre-req's I believe Nutrition and BioChem. I have to send in my reply to CMSV by the 15th though, so I hope that I get letters before then...

I was also accepted to CMSV, still waiting to hear from NYU and LIU though. Are you going to be a second degree student as well?

ADN or BSN if I already have a BA
I am trying to figure out whether I should go the ADN or Second Degree BSN route to become an RN.. I already have a BA in Psychology... SO what I would like to know is what, if any, are the differences between the two when it comes to getting a job, also the program itself.. Is there really a big difference or preferential treatment when looking at perspective nurses? your help is GREATLY appreciated.. :)

weird. i looked at the nyu site for the 15month program and didn't see that note. do you have the link by any chance? also do you mind sharing your stats when applying... gpa etc. im worried that my 2.985 wont be competitive enough. thanks

Pre Reqs - How to fit them all in?
jlan- are you applying to the ABSN program? Because I want to apply for next spring and will have most of the pre-reqs done except for chem I thought we needed to have them all completed before the start of the program:doh: Please tell me if I am mistaken or what the process is for applying. Thanks in advance

Anyone else accepted to NYU?
i was unaware that you are allowed to apply to the accelerated program without having all pre-reqs completed or in progress. i may be wrong but please let me know. also if you can share your experience in the applying that would be great i want to apply for spring 2010 but still have some pre-reqs to take.
