  3. Hi, There is a slim chance to work in Thailand as a nurse if you cannot speak Thai. I will ask the Thai nurses for you. Chiang Mai is a beautiful province. People are so friendly. The cost of living is much cheaper than Bangkok. I guess, you are going to be missionary. I've learned American-English from missionary. I'm so excited for you.
  4. I'm 4'11'' and 110 lbs and an Asian. I climbed the chair to hang IV because I didn't want to adjust the IV pole. I climbed the counter to get the cerial. I climbed the counter to get the needle points. I climbed the wheeling chair that can wheer around while I stood on it to get some supplies. I didn't ask for help because I wanted to be indipendent as much as possible. I am not a native English speaker. I'm actually very poor in English, but my heart is for nursing, so guess what! I'm a nurse. Sometimes, patients and family members offered me a few inches to add my height. They actually teased me about being short. I didn't mind and had real fun with them. One day, I took care the old lady that was very small. I told her, finally, I took care somebody that smaller than me. Next day, the daughter told me and my co-worker (one of my good friends) " She thought she can do anything. LOL She told my mother that she can take care of my mother because she finally found somebody that smaller than her." She teased me again about being small and short. My co-worker was smiled. My life is happier forever since I become a nurse. I love it.
  5. Thank you all. I would take your recommends seriously. Thank you very much. Oh! I see I have written wrong. I said my mother-in-law, actually I have meaned, my friend's mother in law. I was so embarrassed. Moonlight_tiny
  6. Hello everyone, How do you build you immune system to resist resipratory infections. I seem to be catch these kinds of colds that are sinus related and drain into my chest. Is there anything to take as preventative maintenance? I work as a night shift nurse in Telemetry-Med Surg floor. I work 12 hours shift. After that I drive 1 hour and 15 minutes back to my house. I don't get enough sleep sometimes. I don't consume good food like I tell the patients to do. When I work with a respiratory infection patient, I use the precautions as hospital policies. I've done everything from get infections from the patient. But lately, I was sick from the respiratory infection often. I don't have a flu or swine flu. But I have like a cold or sinus infections. I love to work so much, I don't want to call in and tell my charge nurse that I'm sick and I cannot go to work. My mother-in-law recommended to ask herb store. How do you make yourself immune while you works a nurse? Any herbs that can help you boot your immune system? Thank you very much.
  7. Hello, I came back again. I posted about 2 weeks, the trick did work on my case. I also did the trick for my friend because she was too much anxiety to do by herself. This morning, I found out that her name is on State Board of AL nursing. Off course, I had to look up for her. She is too anxiety even to touch computer. The trick is work for both of us. The main reason that I wanted to try the trick for both of my friend and me was reduce anxiety. When we know that we cannot go to Credit Card Page, our half anxiety has gone away. 48 hours are too tortured for us. If I don't use the trick, I might go insane. Thank you very much.
