Hi everyone, I found this website through google search and caught my attention to post questions that I needed so bad before pursuing an RN. I am 30 yrs old, asian woman, 4'11" height, 90 pounds. It has been my dream to be a nurse but due to financial issues that time, we could'nt afford it, so I went to college for two years and I was doing good in school, my GPA was 1.2, highest was 1.0 that's how they grade where the school I went too. It's been over 10 yrs (working for that time too for 6 yrs as graphic artist) and planning to pursue another career that I've dreamed off, a NURSE. I have been in States for 2 1/2 yrs, have a son (22 months old) and thinking to go back to school, just a matter if I'm qualified in this specific course, but there is something that keep holding me back, I have been told that I am too short. Does it matter being too short or too skinny? :) I am a little concern too since it's been a while for not being in school. I've got to do something in my life soon, time isn't stopping. I am not getting younger, haha I am not a home body type of person but what keeps me busy is taking care of my precious baby boy. Kindly please hear me.... I am so glad to found this very informative online nursing forum. I would love to hear everyone's feedback. Thank You Sooooooooo much with L-O-V-E! Bebz
