Welcome nclex november 2009 support group
I took the RN NCLEX last week and I found out Friday that I passed. It is such a great feeling to have that exam behind me. It was my second time taking it and I almost rescheduled my test date again. I just never felt ready. I used Hurst and Exam Cram. The first time I had way to many resources I was trying to study. I wish everyone the best of luck. Have faith in yourself.

Just taken the exam and need a bit of support
I won't worry about being the only one in your class not to pass. I was one of three in my class that didn't pass the first time and I didn't loose any sleep over it. Some people test better than others or may have been more prepared. I just had to focus on me and what I needed to improve. You may have passed anyway. Did you try the PV trick? I can tell you from my own experience that it does work. Hopefully you passed but if not keep your head up and keep trying.

October NCLEX takers: MOTIVATE
I just started the NCSBN learning extention online. My pretest score was 62% which lets me know I am not ready. I am doing the 3 week course. I like it so far. I am also going to do Exam Cram. The next time I test I really want it to be my last time.

Failed NCLEX, feeling awful. Any advice?
Sorry to hear you failed. I can relate I fail in August. It will take time to get over it. I recommend taking a few days off to just relax and try it again. Don't give up. Stay positive and you will pass. Claim it and it will be yours.

I finally got back into the books after slumming it. I really had to get motivated to start back studying for the 2nd time around.

October NCLEX takers: MOTIVATE
I am still not motivated. I took my RN NCLEX on Aug. 13th and failed. I kinda through myself into work and I haven't started back studying. I haven't even payed the money to retest yet. My brain was so tired the first time around and it is hard to get back into the groove of studying again. I wish I had passed that crazy test the first time.

Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group
Hello everyone, I failed the RN NCLEX for the first time on August 13th. It really hit me hard. I passed my LPN NCLEX the first time around and I used the same study plan. I now know that I should have did more questions and studied more content. I probably won't retest until Oct. or Nov. and I will make sure that I am really ready the next time. The fee to retest just doesn't grow on trees. I wish they would give some kind of discount for having to retest like the review courses provide. I can also testify that the trick does work. I tried to register as soon as 2 hrs after my test and it allowed me to go to the credit card page. I know that we all will pass. We just have to keep praying and stay positive.:flwrhrts:

Welcome to NCLEX August 2009 Group!!!
I took my NCLEX RN today at 8am.I had all 265. I had a bad feeling as I was driving home. I got home and did the Trick and it let me go to the credit card section which means I failed. I am so tired of studying and of having my head hurt from having an information overload. i really didnt want to have to take that test again. It is like your life is on hold until you get it behind you.

July 2009 NCLEX Support Group
I am hoping to take my RN NCLEX by the end of July. I graduated in May and I am still waiting for my ATT. Several of my classmates have already taken the exam. Alot of them had several medication questions (meds that they had never seen before), why should the nurse question the doctors order, infection control, crutch walking, SATA. One classmate told me she had alot of ventilator questions. I hope this helps us all. I am doing the ATI online review, Saunders, and Exam Cram.

NCLEX-PN got 85 questions!! Freaking out!
I took the PN NCLEX yesterday. The computer stopped at 85. I am now waiting for the 48 hour quick results. These 48 hours feel like months. I know that I have 5 new gray hairs from the anxiety of waiting. Thank God for hair dye. A lot of folks tell me that 85 is a good sign. I sure hope so.

How do you handle all 'other' responsibilites while in nursing school??
Nursing school is hard on the home life. You have to make a plan of what you want to accomplish each day. I am the worst at putting things off. I actually have been writing out list of thing to make sure I do each week. I usually try to get an early start on any homework assignments. I spend between 2-4 hrs a day studying. Nursing school forces you to get organized. There have been times when I didn't know if I was coming or going. You just have to stay focused on the big prize. You will be a NURSE when it is all over.

Took NCLEX-PN at 9:30 today
I wish you the best of luck. I am still waiting for my ATT. My school didn't fill out all of my paperwork, so I have been playing the waiting game since Dec. 08.

Anyone going into their Last Semester?
Is anyone going into their last semester? I was in my last semester of the ADN program. I have to take critical care over. Missed it by 3 points. It sucks but at least I was able to get back in. Several of my classmates couldn't get back in because they had already repeated a class. I am ready to start the last semester and get it over with. Now I am just waiting for my ATT to take the PN boards.

Does nursing school break up relationships?
Good luck with your job. I know about being dependent on the cheater because they are making the money while you try to further your education. All we can do is hold our heads up and do what is best for our family and ourselves. Even if it means play nice until we can do better.

Does nursing school break up relationships?
I guess you have to be dating someone in the medical field to truely be understood. School is hard enough and we shouldn't have to worry about being cheated on. I know that mine of 13 years wasn't strong enough to handle nursing school. It's hard to cope with, but in the end I am better off without him.

Does nursing school break up relationships?
Jules A that is so true. It's their loss.
-
Does nursing school break up relationships?
You could be right. Maybe the cheaters are just using the stress of having a partner in nursing school as an excuse. They would probably cheat even if nursing school wasn't even in the picture.
-
Does nursing school break up relationships?
I ask this question because I know that in my class several students have been cheated on by their husbands or boyfriends. Two ladies are filing for divorce. I would think that our partners would be supportive and be able to stay faithful. We as nursing students are trying to build a better future for ourselves. I guess they get tired of playing second fiddle to the studying, exams, and clinicals. Every cheating situation envolved the man doing the cheating. I am not saying that women don't cheat. It is so sad that our partners need so much attention from the opposite sex that they can't even see the big picture. We will eventually finish school and become awesome nurses.:heartbeat

Waiting to take the LPN nclex
Another reason that I am worried about the PN nclex is that I am a RN student. I have one semester left. I want to work as a LPN in my last semester so I can start getting experience and a check.

Waiting to take the LPN nclex
Is Saunders a good book to study? I only have the RN one.
