Wow... Bitter much?? I'm sorry - but I'm tired of people trying to dumb down the BSN. How can more education be a bad thing?? Do I think having a BSN makes me a better nurse than an ADN? NO! I was trained by an AMAZING ADN preceptor & work alongs...

I took the NCLEX on the 11th, after my registration page said "delivery successful" - I tried to re-register & got the good pop-up. Today - signed onto the BRN & it's official! I passed! RN! :)

That is terrible! They actually told you that in orientation? Seriously, a 50% retention rate does not say much about their program! I love MJC... but if that number is accurate, they need to be looking at what the problem is.

You'll get most of your supplies for skills on your first day in skills lab. You'll need a stethoscope - but don't bother buying an expensive one at this point... they grow legs! Really I can't think of much else... I use my laptop regularly to take ...
