  1. Actually, where I have given it, norco has 325 mg of acetaminophen, not 500 mg like vicodin. Ooooh, the sat/stat kills me too. Another that annoys me is lor-A-tab, no... its lortab. On a side note, one FF the other day said, "The only thing that works for me is d-d-d-diloo-diloo-lu." I never did tell her the correct pronounciation of the medication. One has to love the FFs in the ER (note, no apostrophe).
  2. Meluhn, that song is 'Animal I Have Become' by Three Days Grace. Great choice, I listen to that song almost everyday on the way to work!
  3. No one mentioned the good ole c-diff yet. That is one of my favorites!! The constant stinky, mucus diarrhea that runs out as soon as you wipe them. Oh yeah, we all know and love them!
  4. I have had my Danskos for 8 months now and I won't wear anything else. They hold up alot better than regular tennis shoes-- that I was consistently replacing every 3 months. They definitely take some getting used to, I wouldn't wear them straight for 12 hours for at least a week or two, depending on your comfort. They do not bend like normal shoes, so don't be surprised if you trip over your toes the first couple times you wear them. I also find that it helps to wear good support hose. But they are definitely the best shoes I have ever worn to work. Be cautious ordering them online, make sure you get them from a place they can be returned if not worn outside and wear them around your house to see how they fit. ENJOY!!
  5. Quick question for cardiac nurses-- I am having a tilt table test in the near future to test for POTS. I was wondering what to expect during the procedure? How do the patient normally react, and yes, I understand that all patient will react differently. I have done extensive research but I could use some individual real life stories.
