79Tango. Do you know any websites or agency that work directly with the IHS? thanks. I am licensed to work in all of these states so I at this time I don't have to worry about that aspect.

Travel Nursing in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota
I am planning to do travel nursing in the CCU/ICU and/or ER in MT,ND or SD. It's my first time doing an assignment and trying to stay close to my hometown in MO. I am interested in hearing about people's experience in any of these state. I recently got a Montana license cause I love to visit more of that state. What are the hospitals like in these rural areas and the assignments? I am working with Trustaff and valley health. Are these two companies good to find me the travel assignment in these areas?

NCLEX RN audio CDs
The website actually works. Just type it in. go to http://www.audiolearn.net http://www.audiolearn.net/nclexrn-audiolearn-p-244.html?osCsid=99f186a4e34890c8984c828cf0ac4906 I also used Kaplan audio lectures while preparing (this one i downloaded for free..just follow instructions). It's a bit tricky to download. Some users here on this forum helped me with this. first download bit torrent go to http://www.bittorrent.com/btusers/download/? click where it says "get bit torrent" Then go to this website : http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4137419/Nursing_NCLEX_Lectures_and_Software_-_Part_III_of_IV_-_Apirl_15_ click where it says Download this torrent You can put these lectures on i-pod and listen to it. If you have problems let me know. goodluck

those who PASSED nclex- Content Areas
I agree with truern on getting the report. As many have suggested try the suzannes plan as it has helped many. Personally I did not do her plan as I did not have enough time to do it. but I did use the book, it helped but what helped the most was doing the practice test. I did about 1500 practice questions alltogether to prepare for the test. I also did the http://www.learningext.com 3 weeks program and did all of the questions listed on the site. I would say those questions helped me the most. The questions on the Saunder's book were little too easy for me but learningext was more closer to nclex in my personal opinion. I got lots of priority questions, lots of SATA type about (10-11), lots of teaching, there were about 8 or 9 med questions, 0 drug calculations, no delegation. The test stopped in 89 questions and passed it. Good luck to you. you can do it again.

To those who are waiting to take the test, study hard (honestly it's a hard test) and do ur practice test, and you will make it. And to those of you who already took and passed....take some time to enjoy the moment. you deserve it :))))

Anyone Up For Random FACT THROWING??
ok so i took the nclex today and let me tell you it was tough I have to admit it. there was definitely some guessing involved. When the test didn't shut off in 75 questions, i was kind of nervous. Then finally after two hours it shut off in 89 questions. I dont know I how did, like people have been saying I don't feel like I did all that great. But i have a gut feeling that i may have just passed. The questions after 75 questions got easier and I belive I may have gotten most of them correct. I had tons of teaching questions...about 10 SATA questions (which one my weakest points), few peads, couple OB, some psych, lots of meds (i believe i got of these correct), some infection control and safety, and none drug calculations or delegation (too bad these were my strongest points). Overall it was a tough test and i had been studying and took tons of practice questions. oh dear god i just hope i passed. I cant go through taking this test again. good luck to anyone who is going to take this test. I hope you all the best.

Anyone Up For Random FACT THROWING??
hi everyone i test on monday 1/12. I m just so nervous. Ihave been doing practice test and still doing it. So tired of studying actually. I have also been reading these facts. I love it full of good info. Any advice as what i should do during last moments? thanks Here my some of the facts Neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS): rare disorder and occurs as a SE of antipsychotic meds (such as quetiapine (seroquel)) . Characterized by muscular rigidity, tachycardia, hyperthermia, sweating, altered consciousness, automic dysfunction and increase cpk. Serotonin syndrome: reported in pt taking two or more medications that increase CNS serotonin levels by different mechanism. the most common drug combinations associated with serotonin syndrome involve the MAOIs, SSRI, and tricyclic antidepressants. the symptoms you see are confusion, nausea, palpitations, increased muscle tone and twitching muscles and agitation. when taking iron--vit c enhances the absorption. liquid iron may discolor teeth, in that case pt may drink with orange juice through straw. drinking milk with Iron pill may not let iron be absorbed. Iron may cause n/v when taken in empty stomach...take with food. atelplase (activase tissure plasminogen acivator) for the treatment of MI. Improved perfusion. return to ST segment to baseline on a 12 lead ECG. GERD may be aggravated by fatty diet. A diet low in fat would decrease the symtoms of GERD. Cigarette smoking becuase of nicotine, caffeine, alcohol, chocolate and meperidine (demerol) should be avoided. also encourage pt to eat small meals throughout the day rather than big meals. Lithium-- pt will have increased thirst, increased urination therefore increased sodium loss through urine. encourage pt to take food that have sodium. also monitor for lithium levels...
