  1. City Tech will let you replace one of your prereqs with another class if you need it grade wise. Or at least it did when I applied in 07.
  2. Why don't you consider a PA program?
  3. This is a good reason why I'm leaning towards a PA program, I just feel like they receive more clinical exposure than NPs during school.
  4. From what I know 2 reasons. 1. New DNP program soon to be opened. 2. Lack of available faculty to teach all the programs.
  5. Hunter College in NYC has an RN - NP program, no exp needed.
  6. Do you know the name of these agencies? Seems everyone I contact is not doing new grads right now.
  7. Thanks for sharing!
  8. Some went as low as 17 around nyc..
  9. That info is over a year old. As of now NYP and MSK will not hire ADN new grads.
  10. "Where do you see yourself in 2 years?" "What was your toughest clinical case?"
  11. First day is always easy and fun, the better question to ask is "how was your first month?"
  12. Their website has all the important details on it, just google "Hunter College Nursing". You can apply to the program after being enrolled in the college for at least one semester, and cant transfer right into it. Feel free to call the office, they are rather helpful.
  13. One important thing to realize is that some of our bodies just can't take it. I personally had serious issues adjusting to a night shift job and had to quit, and I have no kids.
  14. To the previous poster who was willing to message me, could you please send me a msg with your email? I am unable to respond due to not having accrued 15 posts yet. Thanks for the response!
