Hi couldnt you a message bc ur inbox is full. But our first schedule is mon-fri 8-4:30pm except Monday we start at 7:45am. The schedule for the following week is not up yet. its difficult to tell this early because the schedule and availability of preceptors nurse on each floor are variables

HouTx Do you know who should we call? HR or the manager that hired us? I actually am in the same position. I have accepted a job that is 2 hrs away from where I live, in writing, got my physical exam done, drug screening and everything. This job will start Jan 21. but today I got another offer from a hospital that is 30 mins from my home. I just feel bad to tell them I won't be joining them because I got another job that is much closer to home, bc they did ask me about commuting during the interview and I even told them that I will stay with a friend and if it works out I will move. I just feel like I lied to her or something

I got that job. Sheila just called and offered me the position. I hope u get it too, so we can be working buddies :)

it went well, i think. there were 3 mangers in the room, they all were at the open house. they asked me something like "tell me about the time when u have deal with difficult family members bla bla bla" " give me example of when u were criticized" they wanted to know how we handle the problems. they also asked where do i see myself in 5 years, what color do i like and why, time when i had to work in a group. after that they sent me to another room for a case study. they gave me a situation, then i had to tell what i would do with the patient as a nurse. they told me that they are interviewing 18 pp today and tomorrow, and they might hire up to 6 pp. we should hear from them in a week or 2 at the latest.

same date. hopefully i hear back from st. francis before then

OMG ! yea I wished they narrowed down to 10 as well the actual email didnt tell me to bring anything. it only tells me to call sabrina to schedule the 2nd interview. but i remembered kevin said we should bring transcript, recommendation letters, bls, acls whatever certifications or licenses u have and your resume. when is your interview? if you got this job, will u quit the part time job with psych center? i have already accepted the job in MD in writing, i really dont know how to handle it if st francis were to offer a job.

do u know how many people they are intervewing thus time?

thank you. good luck to you too. yes, i was at the open house. st francis is a lot closer to home than the one in md. hopefully, we both get to work there :) but i just went to the hospital in md and signed all the papers, get id badge, physical exam and all that today, i dont know what i would tell them if i were to get a job at st francis

Hi Sharon It was rn new graduate. I think they took it down since they already made the offers, and the orientation will start in a few weeks. Did u already have the interview at de psych center? How was it? I think Penn state Hershey is hiring new grad now. U should take a look at their website if u hadn't done that already. Last week I got a call from Virginia hospital center in Arlington VA for the OR fellowship position. But I didn't call them backbc I have already accepted the offer from pghc. U should try apply for that position too. Good luck! :)

I actually applied for med-surg new grad position, but they interviewed me for the ccu. like you said questions were easy, but they will hire only 2 new grads. i will find out next week wheter i get a job or not. hopefully i will see you therem since ccu is behind the cardiac center :)

sharon2012rn,Good luck with the interview! I only applied for the medical nurse and criticak care internship. I called yesterday about ccu internship. they said that i should from them within 30 days.

hi sharon2012m are you having an interview for the critical care internship position? when did you hear from them? i am still waiting. the sample interview questions are in the first page.

does anyone know when the program start (the exact date)? i know that we've to send them our transcript by may 15 next year. but the last day of my classes in spring is may 16!! and maybe a week after that to get my grades...so i'm wondering if i can apply or have to wait til may 2012 cohort.

kdrose01, Thank you so much for your reply. I looked at their website and here are the pre-req's. I don't understand the baccalaureate 39 credits part. Does that mean I've to take any classes for 39 credits or am I ok since I already have a BA? So when does the program start?
