For me, it was much easier than A&P. I also found it to be a little bit more interesting. Good luck
  2. You might want to try a CNA class. You will get some hands on experience.
  3. Hang in there give your self some more time and do not be afraid to ask questions.
  4. You might want to try JC Penney, Fashion Bug and the Avenue. If you want to look on line try Women With In and the web site will have a few places to pick from I think a pair of slacks and a nice shirt will be good. Good luck!
  5. Even though you are busy, I would suggest that you volunteer at a hospital for a couple of weekends if you have time before your application is due. This way you will be able to interact and hopefully meet someone willing to help you.
  6. Check the website of the college that you want to attend, it will give you information on required classes. It will be a lot esaier if you already have them done before entering your program. It dpends on the area that you live in if the hospitals use LPN's.
  7. I did not find my CNA class to be hard. The hard part was the time. It sounds like you do not have enough time. You may want to wait until Summer. Because you still have to study for all the your classes. Good luck
  8. Good idea. Sounds fun and if you feel that it is too much maybe you can alter ther routine and costumes.
  9. I work as much as I can and then use student loans for the rest. It is still difficult. It is not an easy road. I tell my self in the end if I get there it will be worth it.
  10. There are people older than you, so it is ok. There is also a male forum link maybe that can help you. Good luck
  11. It can be a bit awkward. I was the biggest in my class. We had to practice things like making the bed, transfers, dressing and ROM on each other. After awhile we were used to each other. When you are in your clinicals you will have all types of patients. Good luck
  12. You should do it if you have the time and money. It will give you some medical background and you will already know some of the stuff that you have to do in your first semester of nursing school. Good luck
  13. It is a tough call. I think that some of the questions in the first response are something to think about. And if you can get a job as a new grad where you work now the experience that you will gain will be valuable when you look for a new job. If you do get the job can he move to where you are? Can your new income support the both of you?
  14. I took the test at the school I go to, so I do not know. You should call the nursing dept at the school you are applying to and they will let you know. Good luck!
  15. When I took the test the results were ready after I was done. It was all done on the computer. I was able to print my results and see my score.
