Save your breath annae. If some people can't wait, how will they make it once they're in the program? Thats the real challenge. They said april no exact date. Spazzing will get u no where but making hasty bad emotional decisions. Everyone wooo-saaa! Praying for us all!✌❤??

Awhile back? How so when it clearly states April as the notification month? I wish everyone the best of luck but all this speculation is nerve wrecking and annoying.

I thought Memphis apps waited until June.... Never heard that from SW apps....

Okay the thing only I got from this is that waiting til June ruins my chances to get scholarship apps in by May as I have to have been accepted to apply which SUCKs. Even the one from my employer....

Its foolishness. My Director has been forced out of her position b/c she had to have a masters by 2012. Now some spring chicken 6 years out of nursing school with an MSN is up for the job! I feel my Director should have been grandfathered in 20 plus years speak volumes as opposed to a few letters. Its a sad transition I'd like to see end but as hospitals move toward "Magnet" status, this is becoming the norm. But should it be a law, ABSOLUTELY NOT. and that research sounds great, but other factors should be considered. Many nurses have ADN's but got BSN's online was that accounted for? I doubt it. This research is focusing on the wrong variables if you ask me. Signed, I'll miss my boss

There's a separate sitter budget at my hospital but they still take cna's off the floor to sit. they just have to cost center reassign. It hurts the unit overall Overworking the one cna we have left. I feel that's what the flex team should do but they feels its beneath their skill level.

Soooo, I called to verify that my app was received, as I have yet to receive an acknowledgement letter. Admissions tells me it was sent out on Jan 30.....REALLY? I asked if it was sent to the address on the app or the one in the system...She said the system ...which was wrong..i moved in January:eek:. By this point I'm near tears and stressed. I worked too hard to wait another year!!!!! I asked to speak with any one who may know what my letter said or if my packet was complete, I was transfered to Ms ****, in "Allied Health Admissions", who didn't answer. When I asked for the extension so I could call back later, the admissions lady refused, Flat out said I was not allowed to have her number!!!!!!!! So I calmly replied I would call back. 3 hours later I Finally get thru to the elusive Miss Shaw who proudly proclaims I have a right to speak with her and gave me her direct number. She also said my rank was "very good":redpinkhe, the committee will meet next Monday!!!!! and I could give her number to anyone who had questions!!!! Message me for the digits! and It may take a while for her answering machine to pick up so WAIT. She returns all messages timely and seems to take pride in her job. :thankya:

I agree, one school wants physiopath...........no other school gives that class but them and its really $$$$$. One school recently changed from wanting the GRE to the TEAS...:uhoh3:

Get in ADN then transfer. Just get in!!!!!
