The company is spelled 'Trustaff' . I have completed four assignments with them and have had no troubles thus far. I have never called off a shift, and have received my paycheck, bonuses, etc on time. Be firm with them when you don't want to go to a specific area, and they will work with you.
  2. Trinity has a lot of contracts in the Carolina's (located in Florence, SC), so they are one to look into. Their available positions on the web don't reflect the actual positions available. Jeff
  3. Any RN's currently located in this area? I highly recommend it if so. Anyhow, just looking to possibly find other travelers with similar licenses and interests in various travel destinations. I currently have a license in OH, WV, MI, and SC. My assignment here in Greenville is done this Saturday, so I will be heading home until my next assignment. As of right now it's up in the air.
  4. I was a pessimist in my thread earlier, but just took the NCLEX for the third time today and my results were up this evening. I missed the last question with 80 questions and passed. I'd go into details about that last SATA question, but I figure it would get me in trouble on here. Let's just say I didn't select a pertinent part of that question, missed it, and still passed at 80. So don't fret, even if it seems as though you got a lot of easy, knowledge level questions. Hell, I got 2 questions on dehydration and BP right in the 40's and 50's assuming that's about as low as you can go, but yet still passed with just 80 meaning I was well above the passing line. Hang in there, let this give you motivation.
  5. I just took it for the third time and failed. I took the Hurst review and improved on all my scores including the Exam Cram, NCLEX 4000 cd, and Saunders 3rd Edition CD. Even after knowing much more than I did the second time around, I digressed to getting basic questions on BP and dehydration. Go figure, you improve your practice scores and get dumber on the NCLEX. Another broke ass month and a half lies ahead of me. Xanax or Zoloft anyone?
  6. I took the Hurst review, and received an epic fail...3 times and digressing. I can't enjoy hobbies or afford anything. So much for improvements at the gym. Another 45 days of lifting to maintain rather than improve (joy) and working as a CA. Broke ass caucasion...
  7. It's great to be positive, and I appreciate that. But there is no optimism on this end. I don't have to see the results to know that I failed. You can't get basic questions on BP and dehydration in the middle of 80 questions and think that you will pass. In order to pass in that short of question span one needs at least 60 in a row above the line, and if getting questions on the topics I mentioned more than once constitutes above the line, then it's a miracle (which just simply isn't the case because BP and dehydration are bonehead questions that this bonehead can't answer correctly).
  8. I just took it for the 3rd time today, and it's a guarantee fail with the basic level knowledge questions I received through the whole 80 questions. I took a great review (Hurst) which hit all the major topics and covered the knowledge base ground, improved on my test scores (70's), and still couldn't answer a basic question to save my life. So best of luck man, improving doesn't always guarantee a good outcome. Here's to another broke month and a half.
  9. Took the damn thing again and I know I did worse. I took the Hurst review, scored in the 70's on Exam Cram and NCLEX 4000, but couldn't answer the simplest questions on the NCLEX. I had 265 the last time I failed & only 80 this time. I somehow managed to digress after taking a review, gaining more knowledge, and scoring better on practice exams. But how did that correlate with the actual test?....You can tell me to have hope, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out when you get a question around number 50 dealing with the basic signs and symptoms of dehydration that you are below the line, and shutting off at 80 indicates epic fail... Here's to another month and a half of working as a CA with no money......
  10. Unfortunately, one of my last handful of questions dealt with the signs and symptoms of gout...this had to be one of the most basic questions one can receive and not too promising to be getting at the end.
  11. Anyone pass with very few calcs or SATA?
  12. I just took my boards this morning, which shut off at 79 questions. What concerns me the most is that I only had 1 SATA. It seems over the past few months many have taken the NCLEX with a minimum of 10-25 SATA. Is this an indicator that I bombed epically?
