  2. @periodical ..The only foreign nurses I find working in our country are those who does medial-surgical missions. About your question, yes you need to take our nursing licensure exam because both our countries does not have reciprocity agreement in terms of our profession. That is why Filipinos who want to work in your country takes the NCLEX. As for the work, Im not so sure, many nurses here in our country does not work as a nurse because we have an oversupply of nurses but very limited demand for them at the hospitals. Also, I think you will be more than culture shock if ever you work esp. on government hospitals and you will most of our equipments obsolete compared to the hospital equipments used in your country.
  3. Thanks. These info are very helpful ..
  4. I agree with you karmela. That would seem to be a good idea to be suggested to the PNA.
  5. hmm ..thanks a lot for the information provided.

  10. So you're saying I might had a higher score if I did not erased a lot? cool .. :)
  11. Mine was 79 79 81 82 79 Gen Ave was 80% flat hahaha .. I erased a lot, as in A LOT. In all rows/columns? I have an erasure. phew ..I wonder, if my erasures enabled me to have a high average or a low average. What do you guys think?
  12. Can you post the website for everyone to view? :)
  13. The PNA website is not good, there's nothing you can do on their website. Just like the PNA, they're doing nothing. Their officers gets a chance to be involved in som international conferences and seminars, after some time, those officers migrate to other countried bearing with them the good seminars and background that they have. tsk3 Also, I got a pink cartolina last year also. What kind of ID is that? I didn't even bother to write anything on it.
  14. My new plan includes passing my NCLEX and IELTS. Will also try the Canadian exam. After that, will try to apply in the middle east to practice my profession at the same time gain some experience for my long term goal which is US or Canada. But as much as possible I want to be in Canada because they have a very good health care system
  15. Try in Mindanao guys
  16. I don't feel its a discrimination. We all have to pass some certain qualifications.
  17. Im from the province. And I thought our hospital supplies here are very limited. But after reading your posts here, I can say we're lucky.
  18. Canada because they have a very good health care system
  19. Try to have an edge than the others. If you're a top nother then good for you, if you're not enroll in a Masteral Degree. Try to volunteer for the meantime, experience is a great plus when applying for a job. And yes, you now have 26,000+ new rivals from June 2008, and I'm one of them But I have an edge over you guys, Im taking my Masteral Degree and next next week will be volunteering on a tertiary hospital. You have to make sacrifices and start from scratch.
  20. I'm not from this university but I highly suggest this one because of their high passing rate and a really really lot of board top notchers .University of Sto. Tomas .

  23. My professor grouped us into two, unfortunately on our group there's 3 of us. We're assigned to report about reproductive system disorders. My group gave me the topic Vulvolady partsl Infections and Structural disorders. I can still recall our professor telling us to choose disorders that are not common. My books are very limited and so tried using the internet. To my surprise, I'm still able to come up with a topic to report because I can't find any good articles in the internet. I need to submit my topic after 2 days. Can someone please give me specific suggestions about the disorders mentioned? Thanks
