If someone fails the NCLEX, and the BON states that they must wait 46 days to retest, do you use the same ATT? Are you issued another? Anybody have any experience with this.

the six doses of hydrocodone 10/325 is quite questionable. did you misread the order? as far as the blood sugars are concerned...well, at your next job, get them before lunch. even if you know the policy (which is great) it is just a standard that...
In NC, lpns can do charge. There is only one LPN at the clinic that I work at, and she is good at dialysis but she doesn't know anything else. That is hard in case of a code or some other complicated situation. She enjoys sitting at the charge desk...
I have worked with some WSSU nursing students.........they struggled through the program to begin with- unorganized. Plus, WSSU is very well known as the "blackhole" of transcripts. My good friend ended up sending her transcripts there about 3 time...
For a new grad RN in northwest NC Hospital: $18-20.45 LTC: $21.00 That is a no-brainer. The hospital is full of Geriatric patients. I'd rather work in LTC. Nowhere near the stress level.
I have been an LPN for 8 years. I went back to school and graduated with my ADN this year. I would highly recommend getting LPN/LVN 1st. Reason #1, you can make a pretty good salary while working part-time. Plus, being an LPN allowed me to breeze...
I did not like the Virtual ATI. I had a predicted pass rate of 99%. The NCLEX questions were very similar to the VATI, but there were no rationals right there for you to read. If you wanted to find a rationale, you had to find the book that the sub...
I used ATI & Saunders 4th edition. The NCLEX had more of the ATI style questions, but the Saunders book did a far better job of explaining rationales....plus, you didn't have to hunt through ten books to find the answer that you were looking for...
Out of 75 test items, I answered 23 SATA yesterday. I was sweating bullets because this format is so difficult for me. I am really worried about my results. I guess all the wondering will come to an end tomorrow.
I am so sorry. Do you have test taking anxiety? I had a friend that just took the NCLEX for the 4th time - she passed. AFter the 3rd time that she didn't pass, she went to the MD and he prescribed Strattera(after evaluating her several times). Sh...
There have been a lot of people on here that have had 265 questions and passed. None of us have come out of the test thinking "woooohooo, that was the easiest test that I've ever taken" Don't beat yourself up before you get the results.
Don't worry yourself sick.......I took my NCLEX yesterday & it shut off at 75. One more question doesn't make a difference. I, too, felt as if I screwed the whole thing up. It's over now...I just have to wait. Does your state participate in qu...
After taking the NCLEX today...using ATI & Saunders.......ATI questions are more like NCLEX but Saunders gives a better explanation as to why you got the question right/wrong. I used both. I can tell you more on Thursday!!
I took the NCLEX-RN today and I know how you feel. I have been studying for over a month and nothing could have prepared me for that awful test. It is a thousand wonders that there are any nurses. My husband tells me not to stress over the things ...
