2009 nclex examination date in philippines
Im asking for my girlfriend in the Philippines. She has her ATT and she has registered with Pearsonvue already. Where does she schedule her NCLEX Exam? Is it done through phone call or can she schedule her NCLEX through the Pearsonvue website. Lastly, is there any other payments that she needs to pay to schedule her exam? Thank you for your quick response.

Apply for NCLEX from a foreign country
Hello All! I have a question regarding NCLEX. I have a friend that wants to apply for NCLEX in the Philippines, but then she wants to take it here. Is that ok to do? I think it's ok, but I just want confirmation on it. Thanks

The Nclex Questions what are they like ?
Yeah, the questions are a whole lot shorter. i was expecting it to be like the review questions from saunders and kaplan, but instead the questions very short and precise.
- ielts or NCLEX first?

Nclex 12/30
I had a somewhat similar question base. I had no calculations, a lot of medications, priority and some delegation. a lot of psyche quesions though. I went all the way to 265. I just learned that I failed. So Good Luck to you, i hope you get better news than me.

Took the NCLEX today
I took my exam on the 29th and I got just about the same thing as the orginal poster. I went all the way though. No calculations, a lot of meds, priority and psyche questions. But I hope you don't end up like me because I received my results and I failed. Good Luck to you..

Retake NCLEX
Hey! I just looked at my quick results and unfortunately I failed my NCLEX-RN. It took me the entire 265 and from there I felt like I was in trouble. The last question itself didn't register to me as a critical thinking question. I was hoping for the best, but instead got the worst. Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone knew the steps involved in applying to retake the exam in the state of Texas. I know that I have to wait 45 days, but does anyone know the actual steps? Thanks so much for all the help. By the way, Happy New Year!!

I am a newly grad and REALLY confused!
Well, the thing with that is I'm already here in Texas and I'm US Citizen, so will I still be affected by the retrogression? I don't think i would be right? No, I don't have any any experience as a nurse because I am not licensed. So, if I were to apply, then I would need to take that refresher course even if I just graduated this past March? Is that what you are saying? About the application process, do you know what to do first? Do I get my fingerprinting done before I apply online? Thanks for your quick reply.

I am a newly grad and REALLY confused!
Hi! I'm pretty much in the same boat as xchelox, except for the fact that I've already graduated and I just received my CES report today. I'm planning to apply to the Texas BON, but I don't know where to start. Can anyone tell me if the Texas BON requires a local license for a foreign graduate? The last time I was here, people told me that they didn't, but now it seems that it's not sure. I do not have a local license. I've been reading the Texas BON website and now I'm even more confused. I don't know which application to use for my application and where to go from there. Can anyone tell me the requirements that they need because reading the website has gotten me confused and I'm not exactly sure which is the ones that I need. I know the fingerprinting and CES are definite and of course the application itself, but the others I really don't know. I need help and any help given is much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this and replying...

Which is better for CES? ERES, CGFNS, IERF
Hi, I'm planning on applying for NCLEX in the state of Texas. I am a foreign graduate who has not taken the local board in the Philippines. I am an American Citizen. I would like to know which one of these services would you recommend for me to use? I know that CGFNS has a lot of pros. Some of which do not matter to me. I know that it can be used to help get a visa, which i do not need and that it can be used if I chose to work at a different state, which I am currently not planning on doing as of the moment. I don't know much about ERES and IERF, so any help would be much appreciated. Time is an important factor to me and from what I have read, ERES takes about 3-4wks, CGFNS about 4mos avg, and IERF about 30-40days...I also know about the costs of each, but I want to know which is reliable and which would be easier to apply for. Does anyone have any experience with these places? Thank you for your time. God Bless!

CES application form queries
I will applying for CES and my transcripts will be sent from the Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan. My question is, before i went to school in the Philippines, I went to school here in Texas and when I went to the Philippines, I had some of my classes that were taken here in Texas credited, would I have to send my transcripts of the classes I took here in Texas to CGFNS as well? Thank you for your quick response!

California Board of Registered Nursing now requires local NLE
I plan on working in Texas. I just read the application form and about the Compact that they have. It states that I cannot apply for a New Mexico License because they are in compact with Texas and I am only allowed to apply to the state that I reside in if i live in a state that is in the compact agreement. (i don't know if that made sense that way i worded it) Can anyone help me which states who currently accept foreign graduates without taking their local board? I'm told Louisiana, Nevada and New York? Is that true and are there other states? Thank you so much for the help.

California Board of Registered Nursing now requires local NLE
Hello, i just found out about CA needing the Philippine Licensure exam. I am a US Citizen who just graduated from the Philippines this past March. Would I still be able to apply for a CA Licensure if I have a valid reason for not taking the NLE? And do you know which states do not require taking the NLE? I am currently living in Texas and from my own research I found that Louisiana is another state that does not require NLE. But I would like to apply in CA. I am currently working as an Anesthesia Tech in the OR because I plan on becoming an OR nurse. Would having a job here be a valid reason? I have met with Nurse Managers who are willing to offer a job when I pass the NCLEX. Thank you for any help. God Bless
