  1. Congrats!!!! and good luck!!!:nurse::clpty::hpygrp::grad:
  2. This is ridiculous! The bossess are acting like god. Everyone has a right to call off if they dont feel good nurses should know that pain and feeling sick is subjective not always objective. I would quit. I wouldn't put up with this.:down:
  3. :up:Congrats!! I can't wait untill may! 2 more semesters till Im an RN!!!!:nurse:
  4. I have been working as a tech/wc in a hospital for over 3 yrs and i have 1 year left till i graduate:yeah: It has helped me alot. Just try to learn as much as you can
  5. My Coffee!!!!!!!!! Couldn't make it through nursing school without it:nurse:
  6. THERES YOUR SIGN:yeah::yeah::idea:
  7. Because if you are going to be responsible for a persons LIFE you need to know what you are doing and what you are talking about. Nursing school shouldn't be easy.......:twocents:
  8. Hey all My last final is WED. cant believe I only have one year left!:yeah:
  9. Hello. I am also a nursing assistant but im currently in nursing school. :heartbeat:heartbeatI know that we are there to help with the paitents care and that is fine. But alot of nurses where i work are lazy and when they dont want to do something they always try to get out of it. Or there are others that ask for way to much if you see that a urinal is full, empty it dont come back out to the station and tell me its full....Most nurses need to understand that if they would try to work as a team with me instead of asking me to do a hundered different things maybe the night would go better for her because Im not gonna be nice to someone who tries to take advantage of me. :banghead:That is what I think :twocents:
  10. I have been working as a nursing assistant since i was 18 and im 20 now and i have a year left untill i get my Rns. :yeah:I think that if you are confident in yourself then the patient will trust that you know what you are doing. If you are competent it doesnt matter how old you are.
  11. My class started with 16 and we lost one person so far. We will be split in half for clinicals.:typing
  12. I know how you are feeling...I dont know if i will ever be ready for my 2nd semester but its gonna come:no:...but a good thing about being busy is the time goes so fast..
  13. Is anyone else burned out??? :yawn:I cant wait for thanksgiving break.........:bowingpur
  14. I have to drive about 25 min to school it sucks but i guess it could be worse
  15. hi It sounds like you are over reacting to me...you may think that u are doing eveything right but if ur instructor doesnt think so then maybe u should step back and evaluate what you are doing. u should work on ur confidence even if u r not, u need to act it. It is bad to think that someone is picking on u b/c every clinical day u will go in thinking negatively which wont help either....jus trying to help
