seems a good advise on my part nursemanon...i'm waiting for my petition,too.been inactive since i graduated...(though i volunteered in 3 hosp but lasted only 3 mos. each,argh!and that was long ago...) i'm considering to take the nclex here,apply to a certain state that does not require sss# but the lack of working experience is holding me.

how i wish all nurses would be like you so that inactive nurses like me won't be afraid in going back to the field...we need nurses who are as supportive and welcoming as you!!!bless your heart!:redbeathe

i regret that it's only now that i have found out this site...i just can't take my eyes away from it....since i became a member i'm almost logged in for about 10 hours a day!i just can't get enough of it...everything about it...the articles,the topics,informations...whew!quite addicting!i misplaced my post sometimes but i know i'll find my way,the right way just as i find the right path in going back to my career...finding this site proves that i'm on the right track, anyway.i'm not in a hurry,step by step,i'll get along with this site in fulfilling my career!!! god bless to every one here!!!

hello! becoming a nurse is a dream unfulfilled for me... i was denied of the opportunity because i got pregnant right after i passed my license.my hubby never let me work since then...i missed everything about my career.it's so sad that i was not able to exercise it..and i guess, it is one of the reasons why i feel so empty these days.now,my husband is in the us..i'll be with him,soon.i could see the possibility of continuing my career there.i'm excited ,at the same time very afraid and reluctant because i feel as though i am left behind ,far far behind.imagine,15 yrs of being stagnant!can i still make it?
