Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time??

It worked for me and others I know. Unfortunately, if you do it correctly and it takes you all the way to the Credit Card info page I would accept that it is likely that you did fail. The NCLEX is a different test than we are used to taking. Not just knowledge but the smallest detail can make a question wrong. The first answer you are drawn to is usually wrong upon further dissection and they have set it up that way to attract you to make a quick choice without looking at the details. That's where they deem you worthy based upon critical thinking skills. As far as the Pearsonvue "trick" goes, from what I've seen it is 100% accurate as of this date. Best of luck.

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time??

Yes, chiquita sn, that post was from 2009...and people are still referring to this website because they "can't believe it works". If you Google it, concern and disbelief abounds on many other nursing discussion boards...many people still think they should ask Pearsonvue if it is genuine...they are still being told by Pearsonvue that it is inaccurate.

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time??

With all due respect, you do understand that in many states Pearsonvue charges $$$ for quick results after 48 hours...if they affirmed that the "trick" works then why would anyone want to pay that extra money? It worked for me and I am glad it was there. If people keep calling them to verify that the trick works then they will likely find a way to block it. It is no secret, but why tempt fate?

I'm in California. RN - Just worked for me. Tested on Sat 6/19. 2 hours later I checked, got "good" pop-up. 6/22 3 AM license posted on CA BRN website as of 6/21. Believe it!
  5. I am going into second semester. Just watch what you say and how you joke. Women get offended easier than men. A comment that would be thrown off in a male environment becomes a huge issue because someone is bound to be offended. Also women will smile in your face and "secretly" be hurt. If a man is offended by someone, we tend to just ignore the person. Basically...study, learn, keep your mouth shut, and be neutral professional to avoid any problems. It can happen, and when it does you'll find yourself asking "what did I do wrong?". You have to learn to function with a different mindset. Good Luck.

    discrimination

You have probably thought of this already, but if in the process of any background check something may have been found that has become an issue. I doubt that a school would make such a strong statement of denial without feeling they are protected by law. If there is an issue they may be prevented from discussing it with you. He will need to be the one to ask the hard questions and seek help if necessary. Hang in there.

  9. Anyone familiar with the RN programs at College of the Sequoias (bigger, newer facilities) and/or Bakersfield College being held at Porterville CC (recent higher pass rates)? Re: COS, have heard a bit of rumbling regarding attitudes towards students, etc. Bakersfield@Porterville CC is smaller but is supposed to be a friendlier group. Has anyone actually attended the programs or know anyone who has? Thanks.

  11. Just reading an interesting book, "Mar and Venus in the Workplace"...explains how Men and Women communicate differently. Verbalizing (Venting) is often used as a way to clear thinking, planning, and to express comradeship, while others may interpret it as complaining. Men and Women misread each other's methods as negative. Some over-generalization, but a good read overall. Has helped my understanding and I felt comfortable working with Women already.

Do men have priority when considered for Nursing School?

Great! Good that you tested the waters here and not during your training or first nursing position. Good Luck!
