mixedfruit: I took the whole Kaplan class. My score was low and Q7 I did get above 65%. I recommend you should also practice other things like Prioritization, Delegation and Assignment by Lind, and Exam Cram was very helpful to me. I found thread on this website for infection contol which is very very helpful. I did posted couple weeks ago. if you need it letme know I can post it again. Someone had posted while back but who ever did it thanks a million to him/her. Good Luck. Oh kaplan questions are harder, but helpful.

I took QT7 early to see how am I doing so far. I guess you can take it now, it want hurt, that one is hard so take your time and you probably know that they ask you to pretend like taking real test. Practice SATA's. I had lots of the, and infection control questions too. Good Luck be positive.

Exam Cram has two types of books one is just questions and the other one has content and questions. The CD in both books are same. Either book is very helpful. I had both books, I also had Linda Lachrity book and that was very very helpful to me. I also took Kaplan course, I failed the first time and Kaplan offered me free classes again which I went. It did helped me how to answer the quetions, but Exam Cram and Linda Lachrity helped me a lot. Exam Cram has similar questions as Nclex. You do have to know your content, which we all forget after few months since schools are done. I would suggest that if you don't feel comfortable on content you should go over first. There is lots of SATA quetions that requires content. When you are taking test either practice or real test, always think what would you do as a nurse if you are at the bedside for that pt. that kind helps to answer the question. Also know your infection control I had a lots of them. Good Luck to you and stay positive, and stay clam when you go for your test. The other thing helped me is I used ear plugs. Also I wrote down my labs on the white board that they give us before my test. I also posted infection control thing, how to remeber. If you can't find it let me know. Someone posted long time ago.

Hi JMoney: You are getting good % for your practice test, keep it up. I would suggest that you take today off and just relax. I know how important the studying is, I have been there done that. I did that and it helped me. The other thing I would suggest is try to practice 265 q's, because you might get that and if you do this now it will be helpful. I did Exam Cram CD and that was helpful. I do agree with you that LaCharity book is very helpful. Also know your Isolation Precautions. I had a lots of them on my test. I also had lots of SATA's and few SATA's on Hypo/Hyper Thyroidisms, so know sign/symptoms. Good Luck, stay positive and You can do this, If I can do it, You can certainly do it.

I passed my RN nclex on 2nd round less than month ago, i know how you feel. What I did is did lots of questions. I also did Kaplan qbank, Exam Cram and Delegation book By Linda. I think Exam Cram and deligation book helped me alot. If you think you know your content good then just do the q's. It' s important to know the content because lots of SATA q's are about the content. I had lots of SATA's and they were about hypo and hyperthyrodisms. I knew the content so it was not that bad, I also had lots of prioritazions, and isolation questions. I had a copy of isoation memorization thing that I posted yesterday. you should try that. I found it from this website. very helpful. Good Luck and don't give up. Think positive and stay focused when you go for the test. Use earplugs.

Try again, some time it takes awhile to get the good pop up. I heard from other people that sometimes they are checking your test or result again or something. So try may be later tonight or tomorrow and see what happens. Good Luck.

RNGradDec2009: I took my test three weeks ago and I used this two books as well as others and I would suggest that you should also use Exam Cram book and Prioritization, Delegation Assignment BY Linda A. LaCharity. This two books are really good, and would help you. They do ask lots of prioritization, delegation questions. Exam Cram has similar questions as Nclex test. I hope this helps. Good Luck.

I would like to say, Don't change your date and the person above, whatever she said it is so true. I gave my test two weeks ago and I had same situation. I did have lots of SATA and lots of isolation questions. I would suggest that you start practicing more than 75 q's. You need to be prepared for 265 q's just incase. It's hard to concentrate if you are not use to. And another suggestion is use the earplugs, also write down your labs on the board that they give you. That really helped me. Hi Adrienne, I don't know about your state, but you can do the trick (PVT) and find out if you passed or not. This trick really works, I took my test two weeks ago and did the trick next day and it worked, it will bring your anxiety down a little bit. I know how you feel, been there, done that x2. Also try the book by Linda A. Lacharity. This book is for Prioritization, Delegation Assignment. It is a great book to practice. It is by Mosby. you can get it from barns and nobles for under $30. Also like everyone said look for ABC. Good Luck.

Hi jabwemet, I took my RN nclex last month and failed with 75 questions. I know how you feel, but you need to get rid of your thinking of failing and move on. First make a schedule and study. If you can effort, take Kaplan class, and sign up for test. This might force you to study. You can do it, if you have come this far, you can finish it. Oh, and Don't worry about what other people think, maybe they might be worried about you, think what you want to do and tell your self "I can do this, I will study and pass my nclex". MH24: I am in the same boat. I am also waiting for my ATT. I will giving my test second time. The first time I had lots of medication questions which some of them I never hreard before. I read in your thread that you copied link about medications. Can you please let me know which website it is if you still have that? I am using this thread the first time and I like it. Lots of support and GOOD LUCK to all of us. And YES, we can do it. If we can pass the nursing school, we can pass the Nclex, it's not easy, but it's not imposible either. Again good luck to everyone.
