someone please confirm for me. i was not paying total attention to the news but did i hear correctly that the new yor state doh has suspended the mandatory flu vaccines? ps. please excuse my thread title lower case lettering..i was too excited!!!!!!!!

i thank god!!! finally a judge who upholds the rights of citizen freedom in this rapidly changing country which is granting rights to those the rights were never intended for-yet yanking the carpet beneath citizens. temporary halt to the madness yes but i'm very glad for the halt. kudos to the judge!!!

I have gone to many, many natural cure sites which have ideas on the way to counteract the h1n1 vaccine nasty effects. A few of these sites may be questionable but some ideas for self protection may be found if you look carefully as the sites are aware they are being monitored {potential CODEX LAWS!!:angryfire}. I so hate this mandate. I am looking forward to the Supreme Court response about the lawsuit submitted last week.

i do know that quite a few workers at my hhc hospital have taken or plan to take the long standing seasonal influenza vaccine but the same folk are determined not to take the h1n1 vaccination....many plan on accepting the two weeks suspension...then decide during that time what to do prior to november 30th.

y'all know richard daines is not :no:taking the h1n1 vaccine, although he also is a healthcare worker in the state of ny.........right????????? now why is he not with such myriad contacts with other heath care workers? question:argue: authority, question it and question it again..do your research, track the bios of many in 'authority' who want you to risk your life and efficient muscular ability!!!

i, am just really frightened at the power of government right now. no one i know is against being innoculated against diseases with vaccines which have been proven over time to be effective with minimal risks{i've taken hep b and many other vaccines over the years with no problem}. the problem is the h1n1 vaccine which has been rushed into production with the immunity factor for the pharm. companies..that is just too bizarre!!! i have read here about strikes but new york city government healthcare workers under contract would be subject to the taylor law which prohibits strikes. i feel as though i am living in the twilight zone. i am so sick of those who feel it is ok to be mandated.....i, for one am a multi-generational american{since the early 1800's} citizen who understands my rights as a citizen of america. the constitution and the bill of rights was long and hard won by my country to protect each and everyone of us from governmental tyranny..do you not understand that the government works for us..not the other way around? sebelus{sp} and daines the arrogant are displaying dictatorship.

i am praying the rally on september 29 in albany will get the attention of those in government. i've written to individuals in the assembly, congress and even president obama after i read his statement about the h1n1 not being mandatory. one congresswoman wrote back telling me to contact my union:banghead:!!!!!! the others, not a response and it has been since september 7, 2009!! i feel like a cornered rat...take the hasty vax or lose my livelihood{but one knows what happens when you corner trap a rat, right?:hlk:}. morale at the hhc hospitals in nyc is at an all time low as everyone...administrators, housekeepers, dieticians, clerical, students, nurse, doctors,...everyone who comes into contact with someone who comes into contact with patients must be vaccinated or be terminated by nov 30, 2009.

Nurses, please remember the planned rally in Albany coming to oppose this loss of L-I-B-E-R-T-Y!!!!!!!!!!!

thank you!! you have said it very well; i am also one of those mandated for these flu shots or be fired! the erosion of my rights is not a small thing to me nor should it be for anyone. baby steps of strange things are happening such as tracker bracelets being placed on the wrists of some influenza vaccinated people in boston-the cradle of liberty!! what crap that the government policy makers and the pharmaceutical firms making this h1n1 vaccine are free from repercussions and lawsuits should the worse happen to any of us from the injections....ever heard of such a thing?

rockcrawlerbabe, believe me i know the story..i just did not understand why it was necessary to even write such a thing with all the giggling smilies....the snarkiness behind it was not needed. i do have a hospital for the original poster where she can make an attempt to be hired. the hospital has many attributes. 1: a diabetes education program recognized by the ada 2: a parkinson's disease center of excellence 3: a designated by the state of ny specialized stroke center 4: one of the busiest level one trauma center & the first designated so in the usa. 5: the newest operating & radiology facilities in nyc 6: a nicu level 3 center 7: a level one pediatric trauma center 8:a cancer care center which is part of the brooklyn patient navigator program 9: home of the first & oldest sickle cell disease program in existence 10:performed the 1st open heart surgery in ny state
