  1. that's great. congrats.... you probably did well. you have an experience already being an LVN.... did you get the job?...
  2. Hi everyone. I just wanted to ask if anyone know what kind of interviewing style sutter health hospital in los banos or modesto/sutter gould medical foundation?... has anyone gone to interview with any of these hospitals? I'd like to have an idea whether it's behavioral (i.e. tell me a situation where you had a conflict with a coworker and how you handled it) or medical question, etc... Thanks for reading and answering!!!
  3. Hey.. no i didn't even get an email.. that's what sad about it.. I checked my gmail account and I didn't see any new messages from them... even a rejection one. I in another place all those who are going to the next level, which is interviews I think will be notified by nov 13th.. as far as i know that's the date. congrats again to all those who got the job... Is everyone from SAn diego area/nearby? i meant those who got the job?....
  4. congrats to all who did. i applied there too but didn't get interviewed. i was hoping they would coz i was talking to one of the recruiters.. i also have a bsn.. it's getting harder and harder to find a job nowadays.. i've been applying since july. is there anyone here that's a new graduate without experience that got the job in sharp? i just wanted to know what percentage of the RNs don't have prior experience....
  5. i know what you mean. the economy is really not helping the new grads.
  6. thanks for the great info. appreciate it. hope everything's going well for you. i'm not sure what's at 9300. is that med/surg/gen surgery or something? but anyway, thanks again.
  7. hey thanks for sharing those questions. I'm sure it's gonna help me prepare for an interview. Hopefully i could land one.
  8. Really? You have to be a local resident? I applied there I remember. That's probably why they haven't contacted me yet. Do you know why they only want local residents? I mean I'm willing to relocate.
  9. Thanks! I know they start very low. I think this is because they are an Adventist hospital. How do you know about the physicians are backed up more than the nurses? Isn't this in every hospital? And lastly, yeah, it's getting pretty competitive. I have applied to other hospitals as well. What other hospitals around the area do you suggest for a new grad?
  10. Hi. I'm a recent new grad and I'm currently looking for jobs. I was wondering is anyone here working in Loma Linda Univeristy Medical center and also if you are working at 8300 or the intermediate neuro/surgery. This is the only unit that might hire new grads that interests me so I wanted to know a little bit more. I requested observation but not here because I didn't know that they were going to have an available position. How is the working environment? How may patients do RNs take care of?... Just some of the questions in my mind. Thanks very much.
  11. Hi. I'm interested in working in Washington also. I'm from california but I kind of want to move. Anyway, my question is is there another new grad program before the end of this year? Also, how many patients are assigned to you in a regular floor meaning not critical icu? like in california medsurg is usually 4 but they are permitted to have up to 5 i think. I hear florida is like the worst because they give you like 7 patients. haha and maybe some other states i don't know about.
  12. I praise God for my license too. I felt guilty cause I also wasn't trusting completely. I was praying but wasn't really giving all my worries to Him. My computer went off at 75 too and then I passed. I praise God for giving me this blessing even though I've hurt Him for not trusting completely. Again, Congrats to you.
  13. YAY!!! I cried a lot afterwards too. Like I lost someone I love, it's silly I know. Congrats again.
  14. Thank youuuuuuuuuu!
  15. So you didn't know where to look too? I feel so bad for the others like us. CA state boards should put that in their letters, either the eligibility or the ATT so people would know. And Yes we should give Him praise!!!:nuke:
  16. Aww you drove the wrong way home? You must've been thinking so much about the test. I remember I couldn't think of anything else while driving, but I forced myself to concentrate because I knew I had to be alert. I was just feeling really down and low because I was thinking I didn't make it. I kept saying I Passed just so I would be calm. You sound like an experienced nurse, glad to hear your advice. TO ALL Who shared this happiness with me, Thank you so much!!! :heartbeat:lol2:
  17. Hello. I just wanted to say that I passed my NCLEX!!! and that I'm really happy and thankful to God for this blessing. I was really shocked because I thought that I had failed. The computer stopped at 75 and I know that it means either two things. I passed or failed, since the computer had to be 95% certain. I had a headache all throughout the test. I just prayed really hard. God was the One who helped me passed this test, because if not for Him, I don't think I could've the determination and strength to even continue with such a bad headache.:nuke: Man I was so scared. Cried a lot for this test. I know what a silly thing to do huh? I just found out yesterday. Apparently my friend had known about it since last weekend but figured that I knew so she didn't call me. Man, I've been waiting like crazy. I didn't know you can look at the CA board's website. I was only relying on the quick results but that doesn't work for CA. So I decided to wait for mail or email. Now I'm sad because of this I decided to not go back to school for this Spring cause I didn't know my results. I took the Kaplan review. My diagnostic results were really low but then I improved a lot, on the passing range during the Readiness Test. My average for the tests online, including the question trainer are probably around 60+'s. I got a 66%, on the last question trainer just one percent above the recommended, so I was kinda worried. I'm just glad it's over. To all the other candidates: I will pray for you, and am praying for you. God bless you all. And I hope you pass.
  18. HEY CONGRATULATIONS. You must be so happy right now.
  19. Hey I admire you for not wanting to give up. You have a very brave soul. I pray you success. I have to beat nervousness too, let's fight it together.
