  14. Hello all, went to job fair, did the online application, even went to HR-gave out tons of resumes-not getting any feedback or even a bite yet....what is going on? I know I have missed the boat on many recruitment times, but this is getting rediculous!:banghead: Any advice on a new approach??? Some people refuse to give you a phone number and the online applications is another pool of applicants. PLEASE HELP!
  15. Hello all, looking for work for about 2 weeks-no takers yet... not so good at this online-application strategy that MOST hospitals are implementing....can I go in person? Should I take a part-time-pocket-money-job in the time in between? I want to be hired! Getting restless! thank you
  16. Thank you all who replied congratulating me- Brownsugr-If I can do it,ANYONE can!
  17. By the way it is for :yeah:NCLEX-RN:yeah:
  18. I did it! Despite major doubt, frustration, anxiety, anger and sadness, I received the letter that I passed-I thought they only sent letters to those who failed to show areas of "below and near passing, above" like I received the last time-but I want to thank: GOD, My Mother and family,:redbeathe ALLnurses.com and to those who put up with me whining and venting!:D:D:D:D:p:p:p Thank you to the creator of Allnurses.com! YOU are heaven sent! Suzanne and her famous plan! Saunders, Kaplan, NCLEX-3500, Mosby's, Med-Surg-text book- I think that just about covers it-LOL:chuckle Now I might actually have to get a JOB and give that cute person my phone number that I swore I would do if I passed :):redpinkhe :redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe :loveya:
  19. Plus I am SERIOUSLY scared of checking those websites...... :stone
  20. But doesn't your license and results also come in snail mail (regular mail)? Does anyone know how long that takes if one passes? When I failed the first time, they promptly sent me the "below passing, near passing, etc." letter by regular mail in a matter of 3-4 days..... Nothing yet!
  21. I'm in NYC-
  22. But I didn't get my results:no:
  23. I took the NCLEX-RN on 7/29/08 and I didn't get the "areas of weakness-therefore did not pass" Letter as of yet. What is going on??!!:banghead: Last time, they were pretty prompt in sending me it!!! Should I call?!
  24. Hello All, I took THE test twice (so far) and both time it shut off at 75..... Is it true that when it does shut off at 75, one wasn't even close to passing (doing REALLY poorly)? I have read some recent posts-and a LOT of failures came with shutting off at 75.....:zzzzz One person even said-the more questions you get it means you are doing well..... Any thoughts?
  25. Once again I shut off at 75!!! I think it's NOT a good sign- 1 Math Not many SATA a LOT of med questions that were not SATA few infection control many patient safety and management..... quite a few priority I didn 't want it to shut off at 75 because a LOT of people fail with this pattern....and my first time around... Since I didn't get a lot of SATA-I think I'm "NEAR PASSING" INSTEAD of RN....at least this time around.... I feel like I'm wasting SOOOO much time-looking forward to the next "45 day wait and $200 pay again" thing......:zzzzz
