First of all, usually when people start off by saying they are not "intending to be rude" they really are. Second, you know from your own experience getting an answer/reliable info from nursing administration/recruitors seems to be hit or miss. Third, like i said before no one really ever talks about HUH (as evidenced by the # of posts). Your original post interested me, so i thought id jump in and expand it a little. And last, asking about salary in a post about a certain facility is nothing new. Maybe your offended because i never really gave an opinion about your original post. All i can say is, do what you think is right, but be prepared to look for another job at another facility. Who knows how they handle internal complaints. Hello, Another option ( that i use!) is to obtain the study material through TCN. When you finance your study guides with TCN, you can also finance in the test fees. When you are ready to take an exam, just call TCN and they mail you the $ for the exam in the form of a check. I just recieved my check for micro yesterday! I realize some students dont like TCN or just buy the guides off ebay. I personally have never had a prob with them, and im glad that i use their materials. They debit my checking account every month automatically, and answer my questions when i have them. Please keep in mind that you do have to keep your account up to date (aka pay on time) if you choose this option. Good luck with your studies. I hope this helped! honeyblpn

Thanks for the invite!!!........but im no where near prepping for the cpne! I havent even completed all my gen eds yet. I still have micro and a+p to do. If i stay on trac with my study plans i should be done with by this time next year. :typing However i would appreciate you and your study partner keeping in touch with me! Im actually in Pa and im planning to move to the dc metro when i graduate from EC. Originally i thought i would end up in Philly, but there is a huge hiring freeze thing going on with new grads! I dont know many nurses/people in dc so any advice/insite will be appreciated! honeyblpn

I think if you scored in the high 70's on the practice exams you will be just fine ( aka pass)! My highest score, i believe, was about 69 on the practice exam. I think i took a risk testing with that score, but i just wanted to get it over with! For Micro i dont want to test unless i have much better practice scores! EC Micro will not transfer to my area cc with a grade lower than a B ( Im trying to obtain my General Studies degree at the same time:uhoh3: ) Good Luck and keep us posted! honeyblpn

YOUR EXPERIENCE IS VERY DISAPPOINTING. HUH IS ON MY LIST OF PLACES TO APPLY TO ONCE I GRADUATE (HOPEFULLY NEXT YEAR....IM AN EXCLESIOR STUDENT!). ID APPRECIATE ANY UPDATES ON YOUR SITUATION. Just a lil FYI for you! Drexel University does take EC Micro and A+P even though there is no lab credit. I believe you just have to take an extra sci like Pathophys or an equivalent. The Drexel Rn to Bsn is online and accredited. This is the school i hope to go to once im done with my EC ASN program..... Good Luck!

I do realize that ANY micro class will be harder than lifespan psych. I am just more into the nursing concepts and science classes such as A+P, Micro, Bio ect. I did lifespan first because i knew it would be the hardest for me....and now i dont have to look at that book again!!! honeyblpn
