Complaining To Your Higher Ups Got You Nowhere Most Likely. If You Are Going To Call The State, Do Not Say Anything. Not For The Reason They Will Know It Was You But It Will Give Them A Heads Up To Correct Things, Hide, Destroy Whatever. If That Gets No Response, Then Call The D.a. Document, Have Proof Of What You Are Calling In About Etc. Be Prepared If You Stay There To Be Strong, Watch Your Back, Cover All Your Bases. They May Look To Nail You On Anything. Don't Let Them Get To You Or Try To. Again Document Your Life Off, Keep Notes Etc. I Wish You Well And Strength. Your Doing The Right Thing. Do What Is In Your Heart. You Can Live With Yourself. Ruby, Way too funny. The med student part...scary.:uhoh21:..but the way you wrote it...I fell out laughing.

If there is not a place already, speaking now from being on the other side...somewhere private. Not for families to wait, loungue, whatever but somewhere to go in private to speak with the doctor, nurse, social worker etc. I witnessed some things in a open area that should of been held in that private little area if there was one available. Some families were left to weep, grieve, become emotional in a waiting room area. I guess there was no place to sit in private. I remember my father's doctor, looking a bit frustrated looking around and he at least, took me out of the waiting room. We spoke in the hallway in private. The best he could do, with bad news. It would not have to be big or fancy, but just a small area to have a few minutes in private. Yes there were families sleeping over etc. and I guess having houseleeping, shutting it down for a while to clean up etc. Maybe a nice sign to remind families to keep it tidy, clean up etc. What struck me most and what I will always remember was the lack of a private area. It would help families a lot.

I am sorry for your loss. My sympathy to you and your's. May he rest in peace. I am grateful to read that your f-i-l and your family were treated with dignity and kindness and that your f-i-l was comfortable in his final days. GOD keep you all.
