EC Students - CPNE Eligible Group :)
I just took Transitions today, last nursing theory exam. Hoping to get registered for FCCA and get that started ASAP. Is it still a packet in the mail?

chronicity- study tips please!
I've got this test this weekend. I got the College Network binder off craigslist and read it, and all the texts except chronic illness. I'm going to focus on end of life care, sensory impairment, and culture/diversity.

Confused! LPN needing educational help!
Excelsior is quite affordable. I think you are looking at the per credit hour cost of their regular courses. The LPN-RN Program is based on a series of tests that cost about $275 each and are equal to 3 credit hours. However if you are in Virginia and relying on grants and loans, which can't be used for this program, it can be tough.

CLEP Exams
I took the Human Growth and Development CLEP in place of Developmental Psychology. It was only $77 and $20 testing fee. There was a book made specifically for that test. I read the book cover to cover and passed the test. I would highly recommend it. The only thing different about the CLEP Test is that it's pass/fail, no letter grade. It saved me a lot of money and time. Also, if you have not done it already, Penn Foster College does Information Literacy course for $115, and it is quick and simple.

What does "Ao" stand for?
Don't quote me on this, but I thought it meant pressure at the airway opening. Similar to PAW.

Best A&P study guide?
Hi Dave, I too have taken A&P before and it was not accepted. I just took the A&P test on friday and got an A. I used the College Network study guide. I definately would not advise signing up with them. It's a rip-off in my opinion. I found the entire nursing and prereq. series on craigslist for $100. It was a version old, but it got me through A&P so far. I d/led studyguide101 too but didn't end up using it. Good luck, John
