Med surg is a specialty on its own. We see a diversity of medical conditions that expand our knowledge day by day. I always said I didnt want to start in Med surg but now I am so glad I did. It has made me more comfortable in all aspects of nursing.

kcok65 I am with you on that one. I have gained 25 lbs since the beginning of nursing shcool. I just can stop eating when im stressed. And it doesnt make it any better eating out every single day with my classmates. Its horrific!!!!!!

Its called an "interim permit". You apply for it when you mail in your application for licensure during your last semster of school. It allows you to work while your awaiting to take your NCLEX.
