  2. I just took my certification exam in fl. The written test is nothing like that practice test. Most of the questions were whats the best answer and I was sitting there like uummmm all of them. I took a course in tarpon springs that was a week long. My school also offers it for 2 weekends also. I have some advice though. Send in for your test date asap. Hope this helps

  13. Wow for some reason here in florida our CNA classes are only for 1 week. Maybe its because the abundance of older people that we have. It seems like medtechs are welcomed here. Good luck to you as well.
  14. "preemiernkate--i also love that story about the mom wanting to be a nicu nurse...i have seen a few moms and even siblings that have had the same effect!" i totally agree with you two. my sister and i were both born about 4 weeks early. i was 5 lbs and my sister about 4. that was were she was diagnosed with tetralogy of fallot. but anyways sorry bout the rant. for some odd reason i have always wanted to be a nicu nurse. what 8th grader stands up during class and says that they want to be a nicu nurse and have the teacher look at you funny. i feel as tho i have a connection becuase of my sister. sorry about hijacking the thread. i respect every single one of you nicu nurse. i am jealous and envious in a good way. thank you for what you do all of you are heros to me. :nuke:
  15. I had to take a different class. It cost an extra 65 dollars. It was suppose to last 4 hours but was completed in about 30 minutes. What the instrutor goes over is common sense. Hope it goes well.
